### 4/5 — Ok so far

*2022-10-07, version 3.6.13*

I didn’t think I would like it all this time I hadn’t got any of the digital papers b cause I had my grand daughter helping me with it. My family from grand parents parents + then my husband + I have always had the tribune since about 1950s so it’s been sad but it’s working so far good luck

### 5/5 — Works great

*2022-04-04, version 3.6.05*

This is the closest thing to reading the print version.

### 5/5 — Easy to use, loads quickly

*2022-02-28, version 3.5.05*

Recent improvements very good.

### 5/5 — Mail tribune

*2022-02-26, version 3.5.05*

I think your paper is quite easy to read online

### 4/5 — Best format for today’s crazy world

*2022-01-14, version 3.5.05*

Finally a great way to see what’s going on in the world, a town nearby or the business next door....all at your finger tips...anytime anywhere anyway

### 5/5 — Always on time and dependable!

*2022-01-07, version 3.5.05*

Love this app - especially when traveling!

### 5/5 — Easy access

*2021-12-09, version 3.5.05*

This app provides easy access to the Mail Tribune..

### 4/5 — Mail tribune

*2021-10-31, version 3.2.64*

Good

### 5/5 — Love the new Mail Tribune digital paper app

*2021-10-21, version 3.2.64*

I am very pleased with the new app that allows me to read the Mail Tribune (Ashland Daily Tidings) on my iPad. It works very well, and the ability to read in a larger typeface is very helpful.

### 5/5 — It’s a winner

*2021-10-16, version 3.2.64*

Personally I like the “new” look and availability of the Mail Tribune. I like the four sections each day, and it seems like there’s more news/opinions each day. The app makes it easy to move through the paper and go to individual articles. Have no complaints. Can read the paper anywhere.

### 5/5 — Excellent App!

*2021-10-12, version 3.2.64*

The on-line Mail Tribune is an excellent app. One of the best I’ve seen. The image quality is clear and expandable, so very easy to read every word, including captions. In addition I enjoy both the crossword puzzle and sudoku, which are simple to print at home. I have not missed the print edition at all, though I continue to receive both 4 days a week. Kudos to the Mail Tribune for a stellar transition - keep up the excellence!

### 4/5 — App use

*2021-09-20, version 3.2.64*

App is easy to use and read. I was already reading other news apps so it was not a huge change. I will say that your op-Ed page is starting to slant too far to the right. You used to have a good balance. Believe me, it’s being noticed and I am not happy with that.

### 4/5 — A complete paper

*2021-09-14, version 3.2.64*

The Tribune isn’t the LA Times, but its team has transformed the paper into a solid local paper that also provides more national and global news than I can get during an hour of TV news—plus comics! No Sunday comics is a problem.... I’m still in the hybrid mode with the paper copy four days a week, but when my conscience kicks in about trees and trash, I’ll switch to all E-edition. I miss George Will and I am hoping Leonard Pitts is just on vacation....

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Exile the developers of this garbage

*2021-01-02, version 2.9.37*

Not a lot to say about this pitiful attempt to provide online access to their high school level journalism, except to say they need to fire their software support folks and up their game.

### 2/5 — Poor app.

*2018-10-04, version 2.6.73*

The app is clunky—poorly organized and slow. Sometimes pages are missing or duplicated.

### 3/5 — Long time subscriber

*2022-12-10, version 3.6.13*

I prefer the paper coming to my house to this on line paper. It’s much less convenient and I don’t like getting the local news on my phone. I’m disappointed that there seems to be less local Ashland news. And it seems like the paper has become much more conservative over the past couple of years. I’m also surprised at the lack of World Cup coverage.

### 3/5 — The slow change option

*2022-08-27, version 3.6.13*

Too many features with more all the time. Dammed dizzying! Apple can now relax and perhaps produce a truly useful guide to iOS.

### 3/5 — Shouldn't have toast advertising - paid subscription!

*2017-01-12, version 2.6.70*

The app itself is great for reading the Medford Mail Tribune before the paper copy is delivered (or not delivered, a frequent rural happening.). But two complaints keep me from highly rating it:

1) Advertising "toast" displayed on the bottom of the screen taking up valuable screen real estate that is needed to see the print. And since to access the electronic edition I must pay to subscribe, there shouldn't be any extra advertisements with the app.

2) Must login daily - a pain (not touch enabled even).

### 4/5 — E-version

*2023-01-07, version 3.6.13*

I was sure this would not be a good fit for me. Fir so many years I was convinced I had to have a hard copy of the newspaper. I find I enjoy this the E-version more than I thought. The main reason I stopped getting it delivered was how it wasn’t delivered. Late or nit at all. With that being said. I like this. 😃😃

### 4/5 — Mixed feelings

*2023-01-02, version 3.6.13*

60-something here— I really enjoy the app and can get around and navigate just fine. I no longer miss having a physical newspaper. My wife and father-in-law however cannot use it. For whatever age-gap reason, some people will just never get over not having that handheld paper.

### 4/5 — We like it.

*2022-12-04, version 3.6.13*

Change isn’t easy. We’ve had a newspaper forever. Now I wouldn’t go back!

### 4/5 — Better than expected

*2022-11-12, version 3.6.13*

Not happy when. Informed no more paper delivery.
After a few weeks, working better than expected for me.
But, don’t read as many items as before.
Just skip over a lot of print.

### 4/5 — Nice layout

*2022-11-11, version 3.6.13*

I do miss the hard copy of
The paper and all the ways I made use of
used newspapers but at least the layout is easy to navigate and to enlarge for reading
on a phone:)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Medford Mail Tribune

*2022-12-15, version 3.6.13*

They (MMT) do a great job
I moved out of the area, but they still kept me as a subscriber
(to keep in touch).
MMT - Keep up the great work, you are appreciated !!!!

### 5/5 — Timely, easy to navigate

*2022-12-02, version 3.6.13*

The Mail Tribune is always available on the app first thing in the morning, and automatically logs right in. I especially appreciate that it recognizes when I’m using data instead of Wi-Fi and offers to download the edition for offline reading.

### 5/5 — I don’t miss the printed page

*2022-11-15, version 3.6.13*

I thought I would miss my news paper. Boy was I wrong. After a
Little learning curve on the app. I love the way I can zoom in on articles and even print current articles. Great job.

### 5/5 — Works!

*2022-11-09, version 3.6.13*

Easy to use and works.

### 5/5 — Mail Tribune App

*2022-10-26, version 3.6.13*

Love this app. It is easy to navigate and easy to read on my phone. I like keeping up on local news.

### 5/5 — Surprise!

*2022-10-15, version 3.6.13*

I am pleasantly surprised by how much I am enjoying the e-edition of the Mail Tribune. Being able to instantly enlarge the print...so great! Colored comics every day...fun!

### 5/5 — Retired newspaper gal…

*2022-10-14, version 3.6.13*

Now that I have time to read the Tribune, I have been enjoying reading it on the e-edition. I can swipe the pages & enlarge the type easily on my iPad. After 36 years of selling advertising in print,

I value & appreciate local journalism very much. Social media is not the answer to local news.

I realize it is a difficult transition for some to read digitally rather than the traditional printed page…times are changing…just have to roll with it.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-08-14, version 3.6.13*

Why worry about delivery. With the push of your finger, the paper is at your breakfast table. The app is easy to use and reliable. Love it.

### 5/5 — Good Paper

*2022-08-10, version 3.6.13*

Good paper in e-edition. Tries to present facts and differing opinions. Surprisingly detailed in local sports. Good interface. Hard to search old editions is my biggest complaint.

### 5/5 — Mbcjff

*2022-04-11, version 3.6.05*

Enjoy the paper
