Logging in never gets past the username and just hangs forever with no progress. I can log in fine online using a computer. I am running no special security or VPN on my iOS device and have tried logging in from the app using different WiFi and cell networks. I am currently running iOS 26.4.1

In the past this app wasn’t great but I could at least open it and do a few things. Now, I cannot even log in (who knew it could actually get worse).

The philosophy behind users not being able to access services in a concise manner is confusing, when I see at least eight years of poor reviews for the app. 
That is, unfortunately, not prioritizing members nor delivering operational excellence.

When I'm dealing with a medical issue and need info on my not-insurance at a glance, that's when I want my app to work.... but this one doesn't. It spins and spins on my username/email and then tells me my password is wrong which I haven't even entered.

As a new subscriber to Medi-Share last month, it was mentioned that the app was very handy for access to ID cards and other information. However I can’t even login. I always get “Hmm, looks like the user isn’t setup…”.  I have no issues logging in via computer though. Maybe if the last update to the app wasn’t 2 years ago this might work better?

It won’t use Face ID and each time I try to login I must reset password. It glitches and crashes. It’s pretty much an unusable app.
Not sure if they update this app anymore. And there is never anyone via phone to help.

Sooo…I'm not one to throw an organization that is attempting to help people pay medical bills under the bus, but this is literally the worst healthcare app I have ever used. Medi-Share should spend some money and time improving if they want to retain members and have a useful member experience in the digital age.

I will preface this by saying I've part of and connected directly to UI/UX development teams most of my career. So, maybe my standards are way too high.

The app is not impossible to navigate. It's just that there isn't really anything useful there. The dashboard doesn't show much other than your annual sharing amount (they call this the Household Portion).

While the post Feed feature is nice, it's not nearly important enough to an app user to make it the second icon menu option displayed. And, it has a LOT of content in it. Too much, really. Also, the header menu items in each segment are grayed out, making it appear they are unavailable to the app user. They should be in another color or font face or blocked out in a box or whatever, just not grayed out.

The second main icon menu item is Explore. It's a bunch of ghost-written content. Interesting if you have time to read it, but not a high priority for someone using the app. It looks like fluff that was out there because there isn't much else in the app. There isn't.

Telehealth, the next menu icon, works ok. They've made some improvement here recently. But candidly, the web version works much better. It's really difficult to navigate the app scheduling system. Once you go down a provider funnel, you're kind of stuck there. Going back requires multiple steps, which seems unnecessarily complicated. In setting up your health profile, if you have to answer any questions with actual information, the navigation process is atrocious. Every time you fill out a response, the app essentially boots you back to the main telehealth menu. It's a disaster, frankly, and makes using this feature extremely frustrating, because you then have to tunnel back down to where you left off and pray the info you entered stuck (it usually does, the app just gives you the impression it crashed or something with zero confirmation of your last entry).

The Account menu icon leads to a page that has, essentially, nothing on it. Instead of a dashboard, which would seem intituive, there is just a text menu for navigation from there. Feels like a site map page. Unless you can decipher what you're actually looking for, you'd probably just end up clicking chat. Assuming you knew that was an option, because it's another grayed out menu item. However, when you do work past that and click chat, every chat entered (at least on my iPhone) drops into an abyss of mystery. You only get a pop-up line of text with a foreboding message to not navigate away or your chat will end. Navigate away from what? When you enter your first message into the chat feature, it simply disappears. It goes away. Vanishes. There is not thing else displayed on the page other than a chat entry box and said foreboding message. It's easily the worst chat experience I've ever used.

That's it. I'm done. It's just not a good app. Like not at all. And I think we may be leaving Medi-Share as a result, because I've found it terribly inefficient to call them every time I need something. The member service team is usually nice enough, but I don't have endless time in my day to plunk through phone menu items then chat up a CSR. Too bad, because Medi-Share used to be the best. It's not anymore.
