### 4/5 — Used for my Dad

*2026-03-23*

There are a number of medication trackers out there for adults but I needed one that allowed multiple people to track administering meds since he was not able to do it for himself. This allowed all of my Dad’s family caretakers to track things on their own phones and to see what was going on when they were away. It allowed us all to feel connected during his final days.

It would have been nice to hide all the parts we weren’t using and just see the medication timers but I was grateful to have something that worked.

**Developer response:** Hello @smalliebiggs82, thank you so much for taking the time to share this, especially during such a difficult time. We’re truly sorry for your loss.
It means so much to us that the app could help your family stay connected and supported while caring for your dad. We’re grateful we could be a small part of that.
We deeply appreciate you sharing your experience, as each and every feedback helps us improve and learn how we can further support families.
Wishing you and your family comfort and strength 🤍

### 4/5 — Good App, Very User friendly!

*2026-03-19, version 2.4.5*

I just have one issue with this app. If I mistakenly select Acetaminophen instead of Ibuprofen, and save, I am not allowed to edit it.

### 3/5 — Editing

*2026-01-22, version 2.4.1*

The medication editing is not user friendly

### 4/5 — Not perfect…but decent

*2025-12-28, version 2.4*

I really want to love this app. However, tracking is a little tedious. You have to a bunch of hoops to log medicine you have given and if you “skip” a dose, it’s a pain to get in there and edit it. I am having a hard time justifying spending $30 to unlock all the functions.

### 4/5 — Getting Better Every Day

*2025-10-25*

I’d say that there’s a bit of a learning curve to this app, but it serves such a wonderful purpose. My daughter has a lot of medications and her father and I are going through a divorce. This app allows us to make sure that she is getting her doses and also leave each other notes about things like diapers, behaviors, and other things that we may want to make note of. Support has also been wonderful whenever I’ve been a pinch that I couldn’t figure out on my own. They’re very speedy and polite and of course helpful.

**Developer response:** Hi @Primagina, thank you for this wonderful review! Beyond happy that Encurage is helping you care for your daughter, and coordinate care for both parents. Thank you so much as well for sharing your story, and helping more families navigating transitions to learn how the app can be useful for them💗
We're so glad support team was able to help quickly! We'll definitely share this feedback with them.

### 2/5 — Just circling

*2025-08-23, version 2.3.0*

When I go to the app and press so I can give medicine it goes and then all you see is the spinning and I can’t go back because it’s stuck

### 3/5 — Not a fan of the change

*2025-07-10, version 2.2.0*

The app was much easier to use before when it was “on Cure” I am bummed because that was the app I paid for and now it is a lot more difficult to navigate. It was a lot better before.

### 2/5 — Used to be such a good easy app. Now…

*2025-03-04*

Absolutely hate this app since the update and name change. I got the app specifically to track when my child is sick and when I opened it, it took me almost 5 minutes to figure out where the medicine episode tracker is. If you give a dosage at a time different from the tracker, it won’t allow you to edit the time or medicine, you have to either end the episode or just let it be. I originally got the app because it seemed simple enough to use, but it’s completely gone from such an easy user interface to one more complicated.

**Developer response:** Hello @Journaljawn, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to learn of your experience! We updated the PRN (as-needed) meds tracker to reflect parents' feedback and provide more flexibility. Editing doses remains the same to the previous version, to maintain safe time gaps. For all other prescribed meds schedules, we added enhanced editing options. The main dashboard, available on the home screen, includes a navigation menu to help with directing to the desired feature/action. Our support team would love to help you further with detailed explanations and guidance!

### 5/5 — Very reliable

*2025-02-27, version 2.0.1*

My son was recently sick and during this episode of his sickness I was able to rely on this app to give him the proper doses at the correct times. I am constantly busy so it’s great to have a reminder. It was very helpful and I would definitely recommend.

### 5/5 — So helpful!

*2025-02-23*

This app has helped me remember to give my son his vitamin almost every day since I’ve downloaded it. I also use it to help keep track of his sleep habits since we are struggling so much. I know next time he gets sick I’ll be using the PRN wizard and the family care features! Couldn’t say enough good things. I can’t imagine the help it would give me as an ADHD mom if my son needed multiple meds at different times of day. So glad I downloaded it!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Glitch

*2025-08-31, version 2.3.0*

There’s a glitch with filling in data and it not allowing to pass the screen, as though you didn’t fill everything in. I like the idea of the app. But with this issue, it’s annoying to try and work with it. So I’ve deleted the app the same day I downloaded it.

### 1/5 — Awful rebrand/platform change

*2025-03-26, version 2.1.0*

I don’t think this app is nearly as functional or helpful as previous version OnCure. It may offer more categories and options withi. The app but it is clunky and difficult to navigate and does not do the simple task of symptom tracking or medicine reminding that was originally here. I’d honestly prefer to go back to writing it on a phone memo or postit then waste the time trying to find the proper category this new platform.

### 1/5 — Full of bugs

*2025-02-28, version 2.0.1*

This app update is terrible, constant crashes, errors adding my kids, if you paid for the previous app for unlimited tracking that is now gone!!! Was a great app before!!

### 1/5 — Be careful with this App!

*2025-02-26, version 2.0.1*

I tried to use this to keep track of my son’s medications during the flu and it would skip over scheduled doses and glitches out sometimes. Luckily I wrote out all the meds on our white board too and wasn’t completely reliant on the app to track. Otherwise it would have been very easy to overdose my son!!! Pay close attention! I just canceled my pro version and will just use my iPhones alarms and notepad. Good luck

### 1/5 — New update is terrible

*2025-02-25, version 2.0.1*

Use to love this app. It was my go to. I put in the meds they need and it tells me when they need more, does all the math and times for me. Now they want us to do it!!? I will just use a peice of paper. Wish I could get my money back, this is NOT the app I paid for. So disappointed.

### 1/5 — Hate the update to Encourage

*2025-02-20, version 2.0.1*

I loved OnCure! We have had the flu this week and I loved the simplicity of monitoring all three of my kids meds. In the middle of tracking them the app updated and deleted all my current schedule. Now everything is more complicated and I couldn’t remember what I have my daughter at 4am this morning for her fever so that I couldn’t remember give her something g this morning. A tired
Momma who is not happy at all!!!

### 1/5 — OnCure was better

*2025-02-13, version 2.0.0*

I loved OnCure, it was easy to use and better layout. I went to go add a new episode for one of my kids and found it has changed. Would not recommend. Especially after having to lose all of my previous episodes and information.

### 1/5 — privacy policy

*2025-01-08, version 1.6.6*

the data collection and selling of the collected data is INSANE. there should be an option to opt out from the get go. the selling my CHILD’S information is another level of disturbing.

### 1/5 — Timeline never accurtae

*2024-12-28, version 1.6.6*

The timeline was never accurate and it changed my reminders from AM to PM total mess

### 1/5 — It’s ok…

*2024-08-20*

It’s incredibly frustrating when it keeps muting. Sometimes you have to let the medication wear off to see if there’s still a fever or you just want to let your kid sleep because the temporal reading is normal. Unmuting doesn’t even work. It MIGHT let you input a dose. I’ve been using it for a week while my child has been very sick. The muting nonsense has been the most frustrating and irritating thing about the app. Honestly, it just didn’t mute at all, I would actually find the app significantly more useful.

It’d be nice if you could see all the fever numbers in a column or graph. Why can’t I add other over the counter meds kids like delsym? It’s a basic tracker. Can do the same things, with more detail with pen, paper and an alarm watch or phone alarm and significantly less frustration.

**Developer response:** Hello @Lissa5689, thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback. We will be addressing the topics you mentioned in our new version, currently in advanced development phase, and it's our hope to be able to share news of soon. It will include more flexibility for parents around muting episodes, the ability to manage additional as-needed medications, and an upgraded tracking system of symptoms and other categories. If there are more features you'd like to be added, we'd love to hear about them - drop us a line at support@oncure-app.com.

### 5/5 — Excellent Customer Service!!

*2026-05-07*

I used this app with my first child back in 2022 and have not used it the new updates. My five month old has a double ear infection and I wanted to use the app again to track his medicine but was having trouble with it. I emailed customer service and the developer worked with me back and forth to get my app up and running again. I cannot recommend this enough to others with little o es!
