## What is medicoz?

medicoz is your complete personal health record — private, intelligent, and
always with you.

Track vitals, lab results, medications, nutrition, exercise, sleep, dialysis
sessions, and visits in one app. Connect Bluetooth medical devices for
hands-free readings. Every field has a built-in Claude AI assistant.

— WHAT YOU CAN TRACK —

VITAL SIGNS — Blood pressure, heart rate, temperature (°F/°C), SpO₂, and
respiratory rate. Timestamped and plotted on a trend chart. Flag each BP
reading Before or After Medication — the context appears in your history so
your doctor can assess true drug effect.

WEIGHT & BMI — Automatic BMI with color-coded categories. Synced to your
patient profile with every new weight entry.

BLOOD GLUCOSE — Fasting, pre-meal, post-meal, bedtime, and random readings in
mg/dL or mmol/L. Out-of-range values flagged instantly.

PAIN JOURNAL — 0–10 slider with pain type, location, and notes.

SLEEP — Log bedtime and wake time (duration auto-calculated), quality
(Poor / Fair / Good / Excellent), awakenings, and notes.

DIALYSIS — Full per-session log for haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis:
modality (HD, Home HD, Nocturnal HD, PD CAPD, PD CCPD), vascular or PD
access type, dialysate concentration (1.5 %, 2.5 %, 4.25 %, 7.5 % dextrose),
session duration, pre- and post-weights with automatic fluid-removed
calculation, ultrafiltration (UF) volume, pre- and post-session blood pressure,
pulse, blood glucose, Procrit (epoetin alfa) dose, effluent clarity flag,
facility name, and session notes. Built-in AI explanations on every field.

MEDICATIONS — Scan a drug barcode to auto-fill brand name, generic, and dose.
Or search the FDA database by name: see what the drug treats, then tap a
strength chip to fill the form in one tap.

MY MEDICATIONS — Persistent medication list with a Today's Doses panel — tap
Morning / Midday / Evening to mark doses taken. Each card shows a 7-day
adherence badge. Notifications include a Mark Taken action button. Log a drug
in Patient Data and it is added here automatically with a reminder.

ALLERGIES — Document drug, food, environmental, and other allergies with
reaction, severity (Mild to Life-threatening), and discovery date.
Colour-coded cards grouped by category.

REMINDERS — Dedicated Medications card lists every drug due at each slot (e.g.
"Metformin • Lisinopril"). Per-drug reminders show name, dose, and route.
Three independently toggled slots (Morning, Midday, Evening). Every alert
includes a Mark Taken button — record the dose without opening the app.

NUTRITION & AI MEAL PLANNER — Log meals with carbs, calories, and fiber. Tap
Suggest Meal for a personalised AI plan — diabetic (ADA-aligned) or standard
mode. Pick items, adjust portions (½× to 2×), and fill the form in one tap.

EXERCISE — Type, name, duration, sets/reps, and intensity.

VISITS & HOSPITALIZATIONS — Provider, facility, dates, reason, and outcome.

LAB RESULTS — CBC, CMP, Lipid Panel, HbA1c, Thyroid, and more. Reference
ranges pre-loaded. Tap any result for an AI explanation.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS — Diagnoses with status, treatments, and follow-up dates.
Attach diet plans and physiotherapy prescriptions to any condition card.

— BLE MEDICAL DEVICES —

• Glucose Meter — ADA-classified in mg/dL and mmol/L
• Pulse Oximeter — live SpO₂ and heart rate streaming
• Blood Pressure Monitor — systolic, diastolic, MAP
• Thermometer — live streaming with body-site display
• Electronic Stethoscope — live waveform, record and play back WAV files

— SHARING & PRIVACY —

Share your profile as Text, PDF, or CSV by email to your medical team. Tap ?
on any field for a Claude AI explanation. All data is stored locally — no
account, no cloud, no third party. The app keeps the 500 most-recent entries
per category automatically. Dark mode. Configurable units. Retroactive entry.

medicoz is for personal health tracking only. Always consult your healthcare
provider.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.15 — 2026-08-01

Cleared Glitches Bugs added Blood Work Scheduling in Patient Data

### 1.0.11 — 2026-05-11

** Dialysis Session Log **

A comprehensive new Dialysis category in Patient Data lets you record every
haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis session in clinical detail:

• Modality — Hemodialysis, Home HD, Nocturnal HD, Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD
  or CCPD)
• Access type — AV Fistula, AV Graft, Tunneled or Temporary Catheter, PD
Catheter (options update automatically based on modality)
• Dialysate concentration — 1.5 %, 2.5 %, 4.25 %, or 7.5 % (icodextrin)
• Session duration (minutes)
• Pre- and post-session weight with automatic fluid-removed calculation
• Ultrafiltration (UF) volume in litres
• Pre- and post-session blood pressure (systolic / diastolic)
• Pulse (heart rate in bpm)
• Blood glucose (mg/dL or mmol/L) with unit toggle
• Procrit (epoetin alfa) dose in IU
• Effluent clarity flag (Yes / No) — a quick peritonitis warning indicator
• Dialysis facility / programme name
• Free-text session notes

Every field includes a built-in AI help prompt explaining the clinical
significance of that measurement — designed for patients who are new to
dialysis or who want to understand their own data better.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-05-01

** FDA Drug Name Search **

Tap the new search icon in Patient Data → Medication or the Add/Edit Medication
dialog to look up any drug by name. Results show brand name, generic name,
dosage form, and available strengths. Tap "What for?" to load the drug's
indication from the FDA label database. Tap a strength chip to fill the
medication name and dose in one tap — no barcode needed.

** Allergy Tracking **

A dedicated Allergies section lets you document all known drug, food,
environmental, and other allergies. Each entry includes the allergen, reaction,
severity (Mild / Moderate / Severe / Life-threatening), and discovery date.
Cards are colour-coded by severity and grouped by category for quick review
when meeting a new provider.

** Sleep Log **

A new Sleep category in Patient Data lets you log bedtime and wake time
(duration calculated automatically), sleep quality (Poor / Fair / Good /
Excellent), number of awakenings, and notes. Sleep entries appear in your
health history alongside all other readings.

** Medication Adherence **

The Today's Doses panel at the top of My Medications shows every active drug
scheduled for today. Tap a slot chip (Morning / Midday / Evening) to mark a
dose taken or untaken. Each medication card now shows a 7-day adherence badge
(e.g. 85% 7d). Medication notifications now include a Mark Taken action
button — swipe or expand the notification and tap it to record the dose
without opening the app.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-04-30

** Blood pressure — Before / After Medication flag **

Each blood pressure entry now includes an optional timing chip: tap
"Before Medication" or "After Medication" below the heart-rate row.
Many antihypertensives, diuretics, and other drugs directly affect BP,
so recording when the reading was taken helps your doctor assess true
drug effect, peak levels, and trough levels. The flag appears alongside
the reading in your history (e.g. 120/80 mmHg (Before Medication)).
Leaving it unselected keeps the entry unqualified — nothing changes for
existing records.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-04-30

Rendering bug fix in Medications

** Informative medication notifications **

The dedicated Medications reminder (Health Measurements section) now lists
every active drug due at that time slot in the notification banner —
e.g. "Metformin • Lisinopril • Aspirin". Individual per-drug reminders show
the medication name, dose, and route.

** Medications card in Health Measurements **

A fixed Medications card now sits alongside Blood Pressure, Glucose, and SpO₂
in the Reminders section. Enable it once to get a combined "take your
medications" alert with Morning, Midday, and Evening slots — no need to set up
each drug individually.

** Automatic data pruning **

Each data category (vitals, glucose, weight, medications, nutrition, exercise,
etc.) automatically retains the 500 most-recent records. Older entries are
removed silently on save — the app stays fast and responsive without any manual
cleanup required.
