There are two distinct ways you can use this app. The first, known as the Codex, is a virtual encyclopedia of all things Abbasid, describing their culture, economics, politics and advances in STEM and Humanities alongside important figures in their history. The second mode allows you to explore Baghdad and see its wonders through the eyes of someone who lived there in the 9th century by clicking on icons on a map and entering a 360° environment of the place you clicked on. You can also use an astrolabe, a tool that medieval Arabs used to observe the night sky, to map out constellations.
