### 4/5 — A great educational game!

*2014-11-19, version 1.7*

My grandson, Rohan, aged 5 but not yet started at school, knew just a few addition a couple of weeks ago. He knew 5 plus 5 and 6 plus 6, for example. But after a couple of weeks playing Math Battle, he is now able to add all the way from 1 plus to 12 plus. He has a great deal of interest in being able to do these sums, and he has 9 plus down cold. He loves this software.

As someone interested in seeing him continue to progress, I would love to be able to define the lowest and highest numbers to help him learn gradually.

### 4/5 — Love this app but New items please

*2014-09-02*

We really love this app--went with the paid version and it has done wonders for basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The format is fun and the concept is truly wonderful. All of that said, we would really like additional armor, new & tougher monsters/villains to battle and new quests. When you play for many minutes a day, the gold really stockpiles & we'd like to put it to use. Thanks so much for making an addictive math game for young knights.

### 4/5 — Maths my son LOVES!

*2014-07-05, version 1.7*

My son is 6 and wants to be better at maths but hates the online maths homework from school. This app, on the other hand, he loves!

I think the scoring is clever: fast is better than slow but you can't score at all if you get it wrong. I watch him play and teach him techniques to improve his addition skills.

The in app purchases are easy to avoid.

### 5/5 — Top two best math games!

*2014-03-02*

Most kids math games are not clever or really fun. They're mostly just flash cards with graphics around them. This and Dragon Box HD are the two best kids math games in the app market.

The math here is really just a means to score the real game. It is somewhat addictive and always provides just out of reach goals and rewards to encourage your child to continue.

It keeps track of what they get wrong and asks again, and it increases the difficulty over time and based on how your child is progressing. It seems like they increase the difficulty just enough to make winning dramatic, but likely.

Another nice thing is that since the difficulty increases for each operation separately, your child wont stick exclusively to the one they are most comfortable with because the other operations will be at a simpler level. Good app.

The in app purchases are not necessary to progress, and are reasonably priced if you do want them.
Multiple accounts would be nice though.

### 5/5 — Very good!!

*2014-03-02*

This app is very cute :)
I do not have a negatives to say so I'll go straight to a few suggestions I have.

1⃣ You should provide the user with the ability to alter the appearance of their character. Nothing too serious, just the simple hair color, skin tone, color of their armor.
2⃣ You should increase the power of the users attack when they answer a question correctly and immediately.

That's about all that I have to say. This is a good app and I really liked the message in the main menu; "Potions and swords will help you, but real power comes from knowledge." Good job guys. 👌😃

### 5/5 — Best Math Game Everrr!!!

*2014-01-10*

I have a 5th grader, a 1st grader and a preschooler, and they're all in love with this game! They BEG me to get to play it! My 5th grader has struggled with memorizing his multiplication and division facts. This was the perfect motivator! Thank you for taking the drudgery of memorizing math facts away!

### 4/5 — Great, but needs to support multiple users

*2014-01-05*

Great app, but as other users have said it really needs to support multiple users. I have a first and a second grader who both want to play, but the second grader plays it "up" so that the problems are too hard for the younger one. I'd pay for an upgrade that gave you different characters to represent different children.

### 4/5 — Crazy fun for only one child

*2013-12-14*

Amazingly fun for the boys in my house, although really only the eldest gets to use it as he's already advanced the math problems beyond what the youngest can do....

IMPLEMENT MULTIPLE SAVE GAMES! <please?>

### 4/5 — Excellent game, please allow multiple accounts

*2013-12-06*

This is exactly the game I have been looking for for my children. They are already begging to play! My only criticism is that I have five children who want to play, but currently they all have to share the same game. This is frustrating because they want to pick their own potions and armor upgrades, and as a parent, I want to be able to look at the report card progress for the children individually. If this option becomes available, which I would gladly pay for, I would rate this game six stars!

### 5/5 — At last, an excellent Math App

*2013-11-16*

My 8 year old third grader loves this. I have tried app after app, flashcards, rewards, you name it to get him to productively practice math facts - with only fleeting success. He will play the app and get bored almost immediately. And so many are nothing but glorified flash cards which becomes boring quickly no matter how cute the characters or what you can "earn" from them. This is the first app he really wants to play. And does. Again and again and again. First of all, after you answer, the action continues - you're not instantly presented with another problem so you wear out fast. It makes it seem like you are just playing a game which happens to have the math facts included to progress your avitar. Rather than a math app that happens to have a cute avitar as part of the lesson. Just what my Minecraft, Skylanders, Pokemon obsessed little guy needed. Secondly, its multiple choice so the frustration level doesn't escalate immediately upon encountering a math fact you don't know. Thank you! The reinforcement comes when you guess the right answer. Perfect. This is supposed to be a learning app, not a test. So many apps frustrate my little guy because he will encounter fact after fact that he has yet to learn so he quits. This one gives him a chance to learn it instead without hitting him over the head with a buzzer. The problems are presently randomly - another thank you - since when he has learned them in order, he gets confused when they appear randomly and quits. And the program keeps track, so once you have answered correctly three times, you have mastered it. Really, very good.

### 1/5 — No longer works needs update

*2018-02-05*

Hasn’t updated in 4 years. Will no longer work with current iso software. So sad

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2016-12-19, version 1.7*

Far too easy for 9 year old. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2014-06-10*

Whenever you want to buy something you have to slide to it but when you tap on something you don't want to slide you buy it :(

### 1/5 — None

*2014-06-09*

### 2/5 — iOS 11

*2017-11-26, version 1.7*

This app will not work with the new iOS when is an update going to be available?

### 3/5 — Love it! But...

*2020-07-25*

I love this game! There’s only 1 problem, the game hasn’t been updated to my version of iOS. If they updated it, I would easily rate this game a 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

### 3/5 — It needs a iOS 11 update.

*2018-01-19*

It will not allow you to use the app unless the developer updates the game. But I think it is still a good game!

### 3/5 — Good game play, could have more control over levels

*2014-11-13, version 1.7*

Great idea, my kids were hooked for a while. It would be nice if I could either alter the difficulty or sign in as different players as I have 2 kids of different abilities.

### 4/5 — Addictive math!

*2018-08-13*

My 7 year old loves this app. I just wish we had the option for multiple users. Really needs to have the multiple user option to get five stars. I would happily pay for this app if we could do multiple users.

### 4/5 — My kids "finished" the game already

*2014-12-30*

My kids loved this game, and played it all the way through, buying the ultimate equipment. Their complaints:

1. There's only one island - it would be awesome if subtraction, multiplication, and division each had their own islands.

2. There are only a few equipment upgrades - it would be nice to have more equipment upgrades.

3. There are only a few different kinds of monsters - maybe add more variety in the monsters, including boss monsters, and a main boss each for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
