I cannot fathom the nerve of the creators of this app! You’re supposed to pay 15 euros a week for an app where you also have to upload your own PDF files, which means you are literally paying more for this app for a service you can have for free from all the major LLMs if you can already provide said LLM with the PDF files. Literally so lazy, I cannot imagine that the summarizing capabilities justify the price tag, or are better than any other free LLM.

**Developer response:** Hi Ramsey — fair criticism. €15/week was too high for many users, and we’ve since significantly reduced our pricing.

MediSummary has also grown into much more than a PDF summarizer. It now helps clinicians discover and keep up with the research that matters to their specialty, with weekly research digests, structured summaries, audio, cited insights, and a broader set of research tools in one place.

We want MediSummary to be both genuinely useful and fairly priced, and feedback like this has helped us improve on both. Thanks for taking the time to share it.
