## What is Medity?

Medity is a minimal meditation timer.

  A circular dial, a bell, an ambient sound, and the silence in
  between. No guided sessions. No ads. No tracking. Built for the
  quiet practice of sitting still — nothing else.

  — THE TIMER —
  Drag the dial to set any duration from 3 to 60 minutes, or tap one
  of the presets. The ring breathes gently while you set up; once
  you begin, it shrinks to mark your progress.

  — THE SOUNDS —
  A library of nature recordings, procedural noise, and composed
  meditation tracks:
  • Rain (light, heavy)
  • Ocean (waves, shore)
  • Forest, river, fire, wind
  • White, pink, brown noise
  • Six instrumental music pieces (Calm, Illusions, Japanese,
    Moonlight, Reverie, Spatium)
  • Or pure silence

  Every track loops seamlessly.

  — THE BELLS —
  Five bell timbres synthesized in real time (Tibetan bowl, Japanese
  bell, soft chime, deep bell, meditation gong) ring at the start
  and the end of every session. Optional interval bells every 5, 10,
  or 15 minutes.

  — THE PRACTICE —
  Sessions sync to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. The Stats screen
  shows a 26-week heatmap, your current streak, and a gentle line
  graph of minutes per day. Quiet acknowledgements ("Markers")
  unlock as you accumulate practice.

  — THE FEEL —
  Designed entirely in light mode with translucent Liquid Glass
  surfaces, Geist typography, and a deep navy ink. The Live Activity
  in the Dynamic Island keeps your session visible even with the
  phone locked.

  — THE PRINCIPLES —
  • Free, with no in-app purchases
  • No analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ads
  • All data stays on your device, with optional iCloud sync
  • Open about every asset shipped — see the Acknowledgements
    screen for credits

  whoever wants it.
