## What is Mednet?

An app full of features that works together with the full Surgical Center Management Application called OASIS or the Medical Inventory Management Application called MIRA. Features include Physician, Administrator, and Purchaser access for Schedule View, EMR, OR Utilization, Reports, Creating Purchase Orders, Submitting Orders through EDI or Email directly to the vendor with or without approval process, Receiving Acknowledgement from the Vendor, Updating Pricing, Generating Alerts, and Receiving Purchase Orders. Clinical Staff can enter their start and end times for Pre-op, Intra-Op, Post-Op, and Anesthesia. Real time case costing through Preference Card or Supply Template and Depletion of items helping run a full perpetual inventory process. A great tool to use on the iPhone or the iPad.

This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for in the last 15 years. I’ve been running 4 extremely busy ambulatory surgical centers for the past 15 years, concentrated in pain management, urology, podiatry, and cardiac catheterization procedures. On the average week we have 100-130 patients coming through our doors. I’ve have had to have the center staffed 12 to 16 hours a day, and catch up paperwork and scanning over the weekend. (just imagine my payroll). With this app, I’ve been able to manage the surgical center with 10 hour days, and no weekends. this simple app is now saving me about $20K in payroll a month. It’s a no-brainer!!
