I’ve found it to be really useful. The layout of the app and the information on it are all really great. Total rip off. **Developer response:** Hi there, so sorry that this problem has occurred for you. In the first instance please try restoring your purchase by clicking on the rocket icon in the top left hand corner and then click on ‘restore previous purchase’. If this does not work please email support@themedicalcompany.co so we can work on a solution for you. ### 1/5 — Log in now moved to Subscription *2020-06-28* The login is terrible. I bought a subscription and it doesn’t honor it. Company said they fixed problem but didn’t. Always have to login once exits but it doesn’t allow you to login properly. Terrible app. I paid $12.99 for the premium package, now the app went to a subscription base so now I lost all abilities to content I had access to before. THE WORST APP EVER. Do NOT waste your money on this app, they’re ridiculous and it doesn’t function properly anyway. **Developer response:** Hi there, we apologise that you’re having issues logging into MedSchool. If you’ve purchased the premium version then you will continue to have access to this and don’t need to go onto a subscription model. Thanks! ### 1/5 — NOT A FREE APP *2018-06-18, version 2.1.4* Doesn’t say you have to pay for the app. Only once you’ve installed it you get hit with a pay wall. Frustrating that the summary is misleading. Waste of time. ### 2/5 — Incomplete database, great design *2021-06-01* There is little to no information on many common topics. Looks like someone turned their cherry picked notes into an app and the premium subscription is so that they can add more at their own convenient pace. For example, just see what’s there under ‘A’ of the symptoms so called “encyclopaedia”. There is no information on symptoms like amenorrhea, alopecia, but information is there for anorectal pain. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the review. MedSchool has been written entirely based on peer reviewed journal articles and everything is written specifically for the app. This takes time, as there are just two of us and we are both currently registrars on busy programs (myself in haematology and Sanjay in radiology). Reviews such as this one make it difficult for the app to grow, and I’m disappointed that you did not check out or comment on the great information that already exists in the app. Regards, Patrick, founder and creator, MedSchool. ### 2/5 — Inaccurate *2020-12-30, version 4.0.0* Downloaded out of interest. I did an ECG quiz and found 3 questions that are completely wrong. Didn’t go any further into the app and deleted it. One ECG states it’s mobitz type 2 when there is a sinus no lost p wave. Another about which isn’t a rate control drug, and the correct answer is the one that is the rage control drug. ### 2/5 — Help Please *2020-09-28, version 3.3.4* I have downloaded the app three times, paid for the full version and I can’t access anything ! I really hope I haven’t wasted my money on this app after all the good reviews !!!!! ### 3/5 — Overall good *2023-04-17, version 4.2.3* The references are old and better be overlooked again. Some normal ranges have changed too but the app is still referring to old standards. ### 3/5 — Great app *2020-05-14, version 3.2.2* Awesome app. However on purchasing the premium version it seems to get stuck on purchasing/continually processing without updating the version of the app. I’ve tried deleting and downloading the app/signing out and in. It recognises that I have bought the subscription yet won’t process. I am stuck with the free version. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work on IOS 13 *2019-09-20, version 2.3.0* Hey guys, absolutely love the app and use it all the time... but I was on rounds today and had to use it and none of the button on the bottom of the screen respond on IOS 13. Can you please update this as soon as possible... I will fix the rating afterwards.. Just wanted to notify you!
