### 4/5 — Great app, one thing missing

*2025-07-10, version 4.3.3*

It would be nice to have a Take Time of "As Needed" for medications that aren't taken on a regular schedule, but need to be tracked.

### 4/5 — Great tracker with one flaw

*2021-06-01, version 4.3.3*

This tracker is easy to use and intuitive. The one thing that it is lacking is the ability to look or sort by day or date as to what meds or supplements were taken. I have use this for a while then looked for something else then came back. But Adding that ability would make it pretty much perfect in my book.

### 4/5 — Good app.

*2021-04-15, version 4.3.3*

Simplicity of the layout and excellent configuration of meds. Have been using it for a long time. It’s free to use so can’t complain about all the bugs.

It would be nice to fix the ‘times to take’ field. Or clarify the format required to put in multiple times. It only seems to allow one time slot.

### 2/5 — Uninstalled

*2020-12-18, version 4.3.2*

I don’t want you storing my personal info, so I don’t need to share my Google account with you. My iPad has plenty of storage, so thanks anyway.
Post-It notes don’t spam me with ads.

### 3/5 — Real good reminder & document

*2020-11-18, version 4.3.1*

3 stars ......Like this app for time taking you pills and documenting when and what your taking . What will make this a all around app that you need as a must is if you could input the amount of pills you have and it keeps track and it deducts and you can set an alert about a refill needed for medication when you reach a certain amount left

### 4/5 — No sync between devices

*2020-02-09, version 4.3.1*

Overall this app does what need. Soo can tell if I took a Med or not. But it has no sync function to other os, so unless I’m carrying around the same device (iPad) I can’t update that I took that pill. So hasn’t been too useful in real life.
Please implement iCloud sync that I can sync on the road as well as home. Then it will be immensely useful.

### 3/5 — Used 1 year now stopped tracking

*2019-12-14, version 4.2.1*

I used the free app for a year. Found it to be great and very help for my 15 + meds. Then I noticed it to miss entries and edits the day after. Not sure of the reason. I cannot contact technical support to troubleshoot to solve the problem.

### 3/5 — Apple Health integration

*2019-12-12, version 4.2.1*

It would be very helpful if there would be integration with Apple Health.

### 2/5 — Tried and didn’t like it

*2019-11-26, version 4.2.1*

Not very user friendly. Too many required fields.
I just want to track when we give our sick Tylenol so we don’t overdose etc.

### 5/5 — Great & Useful App!

*2017-11-16, version 3.13*

Since it now offers push notifications, I’m now giving it 5 stars!

To the development team: Keep up the great work!

This was my previous review:

It's been most useful and helpful. I'd gladly give it a 5-star rating once it offers push notifications.

### 4/5 — The best app, occasionally a bit buggy

*2017-08-25, version 3.12*

I've tried to find another app like this, but there none like this out there!
You can choose between time intervals and scheduled times, you can see the log and email it, you can add different users. It's so easy to use.

The only problem I have is sometimes it reminds me to take a medication that I've turned the notification off for. It's a small price to pay for such a brilliant app.

I use it for my childrens' various illnesses, where inevitably we have inhalers, antibiotics, and at least two different painkillers. With more than one child, this app is such a necessity.

Other apps out there either don't allow you to do at least one of the many things that this one does, such as: set reminders, add different user names, or see the history log.

To the developers, please keep going with it. However you need to add pill or reminder in your word search as it doesn't show on the app search.

### 4/5 — Almost excellent

*2017-03-30, version 3.10*

It works...enables easy data capture of the what, when, and how much.

Only one thing missing - a notes field to capture the Why, esp. important for PRN meds.

Devs - please add an optional text field where I can enter the "why" for a PRN drug, and then include that field in a downloadable report, so I could keep the what, when, how much, and Why for my drug intake.

### 5/5 — Important Daily Tool

*2017-02-10, version 3.10*

Notifications for medication can be set up by time of day or frequency and it works very well. Rather than nitpick the interface, I have to say it gets the job done with little fuss and keeps a log of what was taken and when as long as you click the red pending item when you take a dose. Indispensable app, and free! I would pay a small fee to remove ads, but they aren't too obtrusive. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Simple and Easy

*2017-01-24, version 3.10*

This app has no glitches and is the most user-friendly tool I could find for a simple real time diary. After trying 3 others I was elated to find this. Perfect for keeping track of as needed pain meds during my surgery recovery during which I cannot use my dominant hand. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Decent tracker

*2016-11-04, version 3.10*

There is a serious lag time between entering data and it posting which causes double entries at times, but other than than a decent app.

### 4/5 — MedTracker

*2016-11-03, version 3.10*

Good app, sorts if you put same username in each med entry, but that should be in start of use instructions. I had to find out by trial and error.
Sadly, ad supported with no option to buy. Ads are useless and the same thing over and over and over again to the point of strong aversion. Nothing I want is ever advertised. Let us purchase freedom from these boring ads! Your app support page freezes nov 2016. In iOS 10 your recent update is extremely slow. Please fix it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2026-01-21, version 4.3.3*

the most recent IOS update doesn’t let me use the app. Please help!

### 1/5 — Wanted to force me to watch a bitcoin ad

*2022-01-03, version 4.3.3*

Was relying on this app, then one day it popped up a message saying I must play through the ads to use the app. The ad it wanted me to watch first was a bitcoin ad! I deleted the app straight away and will have to use a different one to manage my medication.

### 1/5 — Was great for years

*2017-10-03, version 3.12*

Now the app crashes on latest IOS update and won't open.

### 1/5 — Was great....

*2015-02-27, version 3.0*

Current release crashes does not open

### 1/5 — Right idea, but...

*2014-10-24, version 2.3*

Has the basic feature I wanted, which is the ability to track intervals. Worked for a day but then stopped logging-- hitting "take now" buzzed but didn't log. Also, not entirely intuitive to use, and sometimes downright confusing. Anyone having difficulty thinking clearly (which can be the case with illness and meds) should not use it. Also, no updates in over a year. Sorry to be harsh, but this needs work.

### 1/5 — Needs update!

*2013-09-20, version 2.2*

Not working with iOS7. Crashes when you click the take now button.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2013-06-16, version 2.1*

It's filled with ads

### 1/5 — Avoid.

*2013-02-02, version 2.1*

Too complicated to set up. The history is showing I took 4 tabs at 16:52 - I need to take one 4 times a day. How do you do that?
As my late father used to say: 'There's a reason it's free'.
Note to devs: maybe the people wanting to use an app like this are ill - make it easy.

### 1/5 — Poor App

*2012-12-01, version 1.5*

Too much effort for very little benefit. Look elsewhere.

### 2/5 — Inflexible app no edit option in med names

*2024-02-12, version 4.3.3*

So disappointing, it would not let me put the time in, and there was no option to edit. Deleting and looking for another app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Life Saver

*2024-06-08, version 4.3.3*

This app does just enough to be extremely useful but keeps it simple, the perfect combination.
Currently suffering the worst pain with a kidney stone, I am skirting the limits of multiple pain killers as well as other meds. MedTracker makes it so easy to see what, when and how many I can take and also to record the history and even export and share the data.
Read the description for its full functionality.
I would gladly pay for this wonderful app.
Thank you so much.

### 5/5 — It helped me a lot!

*2023-07-06, version 4.3.3*

It helped a lot, it could be better though. Thanks to this app I am barely ever worried about overdosing because I can check to see when the last time I took my medicine was. I wish that it had the option to put “as needed” or “daily” on some medications though because some of my medications i need to take as needed but this app assumes that all of my medications are taken daily.

### 5/5 — the best I have tried

*2023-05-16, version 4.3.3*

this is definitely the best medicine tracker that I have found. I only wish that it could also be live online. so that I could have Med Tracker and use it effectively on two separate devices.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-04-19, version 4.3.3*

Only app that did what I was looking for. I wanted to just press a button to track time of kids medicine so I can quickly see if they can take again later. I don’t know why no other app could do this you had to punch in times etc. this was easy and quick. Multiple medicines multiple kids at once.

### 5/5 — Simple = perfect

*2021-11-08, version 4.3.3*

Just enough to get the job done and it does that well.
Finally, an app developer who understands - simple is best.
Not a lot of fluff.
Great job. Thank you.
Tell me how to donate.

### 5/5 — This is better.

*2021-03-26, version 4.3.3*

We tried other highly praised apps but this is better. Not perfect but what is. Choice of hours between or time of day is crucial. Unit of measure and take quantity are great tools. Been able to adjust take quantity as I taper off medication and be sure how long I've been at each level. Need the ability to adjust time taken when I'm away from my phone. Just so many aspects I appreciate. Dr. So pleased with our compliance we showed him this and he's recommending to other patients. I rally life saver, literally. We appreciate the developer's efforts. Probably a lot of effort to do this but would like the ability to mark "taken" on Apple Watch. Thanks. We use it several times a day. Don't mind clicking through on ads either since many of them are appropriate.

### 5/5 — Perfect tracker- except 1 thing

*2020-06-19, version 4.3.1*

This app is great EXCEPT: it does not allow you to see a list of ALL meds taken by time. You can see all doses taken for each individual med- but not a list of all meds taken today. Devs! Please update! Thank you for making an amazing app! (Also, please update the quantity so it does not default to having a decimal point. If my standard dose of ibuprofen is 600mg, I don’t need to have the default dose as 600.0)
Thank you again!!!

### 5/5 — DOWNLOAD STAT!

*2019-01-17, version 3.14*

I’ve been a medical professional since the mid 1980’s. Occasionally I used to forget whether or not I took my meds or took them late. One med I take is Xarelto which is a “blood thinner.” It’s extremely important to take this drug exactly as prescribed. I tried several different ways to try to help me stay on schedule with the different meds I take, but none of the methods I used worked for me very well UNTIL I started using THIS APP.
WHY THIS APP and not any other?
Because this app is VERY SIMPLE and RELIABLE.
I usually like fancy apps with great graphics— Boys and our toys! But for taking my meds properly, I NEED SIMPLICITY & RELIABILITY. That is what I get from this application.
GREAT FOR JUST ONE PERSON OR A FAMILY since each family member can have their own med schedule.
I can look and find the EXACT TIME down to the second that I took the last dose of each of my meds and when my next dose is due.
It’s PERFECT for me!
5/5

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2018-07-21, version 3.14*

A really good app while I was recovering post hospital and dealing with chronic pain - a lot of medications to help me get back to my old self.
-wish their was an Apple Watch option for reminders
- and an PRN med option so the med doesn’t keep buzzing/reminding you don’t need it.

Overall a great free app. Recommend

### 5/5 — Great for asthma meds

*2018-02-21, version 3.13*

Great for keeping track of asthma meds during a flare. I can only take rescue inhaler every 4 hours and it’s useful to know when I took it last.
