It’d be awesome if you could actually search for people within a few miles or 20, but the app automatically shows you people that are 50+ miles away, which works for big adventure planning, but to find friends you can hang with on a regular basis, a smaller radius is needed. I also wish you could search by what activities people want to do, and that woolen could write a short bit about what they want to do or what they’re most interested in getting into in their area. ### 5/5 — Amazing way to meet friends *2022-05-31, version 2.5* Amazing app to connect and meet other travel healthcare professionals throughout the country, so you no longer feel alone, wherever you are! App is easy to navigate and includes meetups, discussion board, and opportunity to read reviews for hospitals before you work there. Now it just makes no sense, and it’s very unorganized and confusing. You can’t even narrow the search to find events or people in your area any longer. So disappointing. Where are the reviews!? I met so many travelers from it over the years and it’s a shame the direction it went. Or is this a travel agency App? I thought this name was to connect travel healthcare workers together…all these events look like they are forced by influencers and/or corporate interests. They got rid of that tab where you could change your location to where you’re at and to see what people are posting in your area and to see the events in your area. I feel like I’m on another job app, which is not what I wanted this for. I’ve been able to make so many friends off of this in the last couple years and I don’t think I’ll be able to now. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2023-04-09, version 3.2* Their app requires phone verification code as the very first thing to do to sign up. My phone doesn’t allow automated push texts so I can’t get a verification code sent to me. They need to add additional ways to receive a verification code such as email or receiving a phone call rather than automated texts. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-10-05, version 2.9* I have emailed and tried to sign up for weeks with every possible option. Deleted and re-downloaded app, cleared cache, literally everything. They really need to make an option to sign up online. ### 1/5 — Phone number required *2022-03-14, version 2.2* I tried to sign up with my hidden Apple ID instead of phone # but it still required my phone number for verification. Why offer sign up under Apple ID if you’re going to require a phone # to be entered anyway? Doesn’t make sense. I would’ve just used to # to sign up straight away and saved myself 5 seconds if I wanted to use my phone #. This is the best app to connect travelers! It was very scary thinking I was alone out there but then MedVenture was mentioned to me and it changed my life!
