## What is Medypass?

Medypass allows you to download your vaccination records and medical test results securely and quickly. You can display validated proof of your real medical records via QR code or transmit them wirelessly to people nearby who also have the app. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once you’ve signed up, connect to your healthcare provider using the same login information you normally use to schedule appointments and communicate with your health professionals. This will initiate a records download process that saves your immunization and test results right to your phone. 
If you’re in the Medypass partner program, your records will already be pre-loaded and linked to your mobile number. Just sign up with the same mobile number you gave to your clinician, and get started using Medypass right away.
Records in the app can then be shared easily via QR code or wirelessly by swiping up or down on the record you want to share. During wireless sharing, your status will anonymously be displayed to nearby people who are also broadcasting from their Medypass app. If you’re within 7 meters of each other, you can view their details, and they can view yours.
Need another way to hold on to your record? You can now print the same QR code that you used in the app. 

IDENTITY VALIDATION
If your passport or government issued ID is handy, use the Medypass validation process. This will show anyone viewing your record that you are who you say you are. Some places may require you to validate before accepting your records. 

WHAT ABOUT MY PRIVACY?
We take your privacy very seriously. Wireless sharing can be made anonymous before being switched on. But keep in mind, we don’t control the contents of the records you share. So if you share records with your name on it, people will know who you are. Please be mindful when sharing.
