## What is Meerkat Universe?

Three lanes. One guardian. A treehouse full of fruit — and everything in the
forest wants it.

You are the meerkat on the balcony. Swipe to move between the lanes and your
guardian throws the moment an intruder is in range. Miss one and it takes a
fruit. Lose them all and it is over.

KNOW WHAT IS CLIMBING
Monkeys come steadily. Squirrels are quick. Raccoons take two hits. And the fox
climbs completely unseen — you only find it when it breaks cover, and by then
you have a heartbeat to react.

GET STRONGER AS YOU GO
Gold intruders carry Buffs. Beat one and you keep its power for the rest of the
run: quicker paws, faster throws, harder pinecones. They stack.

SAVE IT FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT
Freeze every climber where it stands. Shield the basket. Unleash a barrage. One
Special per run, so when you use it matters as much as which one you brought.

CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD
See how your best compares with your friends, or with everyone.

No ads. No third-party tracking. No in-app purchases.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-09

• New: the Daily Challenge — one endless wave a day, the same for every
player, three tries. There is no finish line; the pressure rises until
  it beats you.
• Your best goes on the day's board, and the best runs ever played sit in
a hall of fame beside it.
• The leaderboard shows the players either side of you instead of three
rows, and opens on the main board again.
• Stage Failed now tells you why you lost.
• The first tutorial is shorter and covers far less of the screen while
  you play.
• The fruit and intruder counters are bigger and easier to see mid-match.
• A swipe that starts near the edge of the screen no longer interrupts a
  match.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-08

• The leaderboard now updates as soon as you finish a level. Before, a beaten level often did not appear at all.
• Your progress is backed up when you leave the app. Playing several levels in a row no longer waits until you return to the home screen.
• Fixed signing in after a reinstall being treated as guest play, which stopped an account from syncing.
• Fixed the confirmation buttons on the account screens doing nothing.
• Settings now shows every sign-in method on your account, and no longer asks you to sign in when you already are.
• The app lets you know once when a new version is available, with a link to the store.
