First of all, I love this app! However, suddenly my messages aren’t showing after I send them, and they don’t appear on my side either. Is there any way to fix this? ### 2/5 — Needs help! *2026-08-08, version 1.9.770* App continues to show profiles of deactivated users, people that you CAN’T reach. WHY don’t they REMOVE them??? Why does the developer keep showing them and WASTE user time?? Deactivated users should be removed IMMEDIATELY - keep it TIDY! Please! Organized an event to enjoy a free local concert and had NO shows. Guessing being a European app they just have an audience/users in San Francisco? Weirdly, my event is no longer visible, but other past events are. Why??? They claim it’s focused towards “activities” and isn’t a dating app, but there’s no way to organize/search clubs/groups by shared interest, such as MTB, hiking… If you set filters by age, and event type, “apply”, then it annoyingly forgets the next time you come back. Why I does it have to annoy? Meetup and Facebook are sadly still dominant. Bloqué par des « Capitaines » vous ne pouvez pas accéder aux activités quand par exemple vous ne vous entendez pas avec une personne qui vous bloque et donc pas revoir les personnes avec qui vous vous avez passé de bonnes soirées ! Et Meet5 couvre ça ! C’est une application où les capitaines abusent de leur pouvoir, vous excluent, une application discriminatoire face à votre différence, une application qui rejette la différence, c’est sectaire et hypocrite et meet5 couvre tout cela ! Sans parler du prix qui fait froid dans le dos et que personne ne prend et ça sectaire connaît en soirée mais sinon ça se tire dans les pattes par derrière ! Je ne recommande surtout pas cette application et les activités sont toujours les mêmes ! Mais surtout car elle exclu quand vous êtes différent et ça c’est véritablement discriminatoire et « Degueulasee » J’ai fermé mon compte, quitté l’activité et ne souhaite jamais y retourner et je ne vous la recommande surtout pas, surtout si vous êtes différent, singulier etc…!!! And often they are canceled due to not enough interest. Worse when it appears an event is a go, participants don’t show-up nor do they cancel. Last night’s event had 12 people sign-up, 2 showed up and only 1 person canceled. I specifically put in my profile that i was excited to meet and make new friends and that i was not interested in dating but the number of messages from men wanting to go out that i got was overwhelming and when i said i was not interested, those same men started signing up for events that i signed up for - it felt very stalkerish. They’re all older people in like their 60s and 70s. It’s also assumed that these people are retired because a lot of these events are midweek and midday. Anyone my age would be at work. I found the app because I had clicked on an advertisement on Facebook. Which means that they are marketing to the wrong demographic. They should not be marketing this app to 40-year-olds. We sat down to talk and ordered food. Allen tapped on my name and found out I was “deactivated”🤷🏽‍♀️. No notice, no warning, just kicked out.
