### 5/5 — Time blindness resolved

*2026-04-13, version 3.24.0*

Was recommended this by a colleague as I was very prone to going totally blind when I got my nose into a task. This resolved it perfectly. Couldn’t be happier.

### 5/5 — Going from Embarrassment to Reliable

*2026-04-07, version 3.24.0*

Freed up cycles for me to focus on which meetings I should attend, and not run to meetings I’m already late to attend.

### 5/5 — Saves my day every day

*2026-03-13, version 1.4.1*

I get focused and miss meetings very easily. It’s not great. Having this pop up and take over my screen so that I no longer miss meetings has made an enormous difference professionally to me - I just no longer miss meetings and it’s fantastic.

Having it on my watch and phone is also amazing, if I step away from my computer I still don’t miss a meeting!

### 5/5 — SO GOOD FOR TIME BLINDNESS

*2026-02-04, version 1.3.8*

Let me tell ya, I’ve literally sat in front of my computer waiting for a meeting and somehow ended up late. This app ensures that never happens. You cannot miss the thing. I love it so much.

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2026-01-30, version 1.3.7*

Would be even better if you could set multiple alarms for the same event, so you could be alerted when it’s time to get ready and again when it’s time to go.

### 5/5 — ADHD Brain thanks you!

*2026-01-28*

I used to miss the start of meetings all the time because I was in deep focus and missed all the native reminders. Since installing this app, I haven’t missed the start of any meetings! Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — This app simplifies my life

*2026-01-26, version 1.3.7*

Like most I rely on my many calendars. Which means I get many notifications which I eventually just snooze away. Knowing that IYF will be in my face when there is an upcoming important meeting or task has greatly reduced my stress level. Thanks for keeping this app simple and focused.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2026-01-20, version 3.23.4*

Exactly what I was looking for

### 5/5 — Saved me from being late to meetings

*2026-01-06, version 3.23.3*

When I get in the zone of coding, I lose track of time and often was late to meetings, even if it is just a few minutes. I hate being late and used to set up alarms for each meeting which was so tedious. This app saves me all the hassle and was exactly the solution I needed.

### 5/5 — I’m on time now!

*2025-12-23*

I’ve been using this app for about two years for work because I got feedback that I was chronically late to meetings and it was causing problems. Honestly, this is one of the best apps and I recommend it to clients and colleagues and anyone else. I don’t have ADHD, but I know many people who do I would recommend this to everybody. And there are some really great features that allow you to filter out certain notifications so you don’t get an alert for every single appointment if you don’t need it. I use it on my computer, but I’m excited to see that it’s on the phone now too. I’m a huge advocate for this product and I’m looking to see what they come up with next.

### 5/5 — No idea how I lived or before without this.

*2025-12-09, version 3.23.2*

Incredibly useful tool. No idea how I would live without this, now that I have it. Critical for not missing meetings. Love how it shows up on all my devices. Hugely important. Needed this for years.

### 4/5 — Not missing meetings anymore

*2025-12-03, version 3.23.0*

The problem with remembering meetings these days is that we have all learned tune out the multitude of little notifications we get throughout the day.

Minor and vital reminders are treated with the same level of importance.

As a result it is easy to miss an important meeting and have a protential client loseinterest in doing business because it seems like we are unprofessional or something of that nature.

The truth is, we just need a way to elevate the importance of a meeting above the less important reminders that we also have to have runnning to make our lives happen these days.

That's where In Your Face really shines. If it's on your calendar, IYF will capture your complete attention by taking over the whole screen with the reminder when it is time to remind you.

You can't miss it!

It's a brilliantly simple app, but quite powerful when you realize you can never miss a meeting again as long as you're looking at your screen.

I consider this app to be a vital part of my daily work systems and processes and I highly recommend it to anyone who values their business.

Dec 3 2025 update: Still love and depend on this app, but I think it should be renamed to “up your @ss” because it’s WAY more interruptive now. All of a sudden the app repeats the audio notification over and over and over and over and over and over and over (etc.) until you shut it off. It’s becoming annoying if I’m being honest. I dove into the settings to try and adjust this but couldn’t figure it out. Not sure if I can take too many more of these. Sometimes they pop off while I’m catching some much needed music in the car and I NEED to shut it off but also need to not have a car crash.

### 5/5 — Finally On Time To Meetings!

*2025-12-02, version 3.23.0*

This is essential for people with ADHD.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-12-01, version 3.22.0*

I tell coworkers and clients about this app. It has saved me from being late so many times. The one enhancement I would love is if I don’t join a meeting within 5 minutes of the start, that it automatically alerts me again regardless of snooze. But this app is a must have game changer!!!

### 5/5 — RIP

*2025-11-05*

iOS 26.2 RIP..

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — By far the worst app I ever installed!

*2026-04-07, version 1.4.1*

This app does not work - with whatever life critical consequences that may entail for those who trust it. In fact, it will register that you have an ongoing event so it picks up your calendar, but it may fail to alert you. Not visually, not audibly. In fact it won’t even let you test their sounds. And oh - tech support can’t receive your email . Imagine not running QA on an app people rely on to take life critical medicine, exams, and important job functions because you needed a trustworthy system when it’s anything but reliable.

### 1/5 — Better alternatives in the marketplace

*2026-02-04, version 1.3.8*

There are other apps that do this for a one time purchase. Zero reason for a $20+ subscription.

### 1/5 — had it 2 days, crashes twice

*2025-12-06, version 3.23.2*

I’ve missed meetings because the app crashed and didn’t notify me. kinda crazy they want money for something that doesn’t really work..

### 1/5 — Date and time off

*2025-04-29, version 3.17.1*

The app sends reminder a day late.

### 1/5 — Was great, but I already bought it

*2025-02-03, version 3.15.1*

I bought this app a while ago, then they switched to a subscription model. I hate it when apps do this, it’s like you threw your money away. And after buying it, I’m now seeing ads “in my face” all the time to sign up for premium.

### 1/5 — Ruined my work call after trial is over

*2023-08-29*

App catched focus on last "free" alert and didn't allow any action until reboot. So I missed big part of important call. Be aware!

### 1/5 — Rendered my computer unusable

*2023-06-26*

I love the concept and function of this app and really need something like it. I decided to try it with intention to purchase if I liked it. This worked well until it decided to popup a prompt to ask me to upgrade to premium. This prompt window was unclosable, and constantly stole my computer's focus. I literally could not even open the system menu to force quit the app, the focus would be stolen away from the toolbar menu before I could get to the force quit option. None of my apps were usable, as my app focus was just constantly stolen in and endless loop. I had to use my power button(!!) to hard reset and gain control of my computer. Neat app, but, that's far beyond a showstopper bug.

### 1/5 — Does not work with Big Sur

*2021-03-08, version 1.16*

WAS a great app, but ceased being of any value after upgrading to Big sur - Pity the developer is not updating

### 2/5 — Lots of potential

*2026-05-21, version 1.5.1*

This app has lots of potential to be great but sometimes it simply didn’t work. The app got into stale state and the calendar event no longer updates. I tried everything, background refresh on, put a widget so it refreshes more, whitelist it in my focus settings. Nothing seems to work consistently. Great app but I would not rely on it for important meetings.

### 2/5 — Well Designed but Overpriced

*2026-01-14, version 1.3.5*

Beautifully designed app with a catchy name, but it’s too expensive for what it offers. There are at least two other one-time-purchase apps under $5 that provide the same functionality for less than this app’s *annual* fee (check Reddit). Because of that, I won’t be renewing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Saved me from being late to meetings

*2026-07-22*

When I get in the zone of coding, I lose track of time and often was late to meetings, even if it is just a few minutes. I hate being late and used to set up alarms for each meeting which was so tedious. This app saves me all the hassle and was exactly the solution I needed.

### 5/5 — ADHD Game Changer

*2026-06-29, version 3.26.0*

A simple and elegant solution to ignored meeting alerts

### 5/5 — Shockingly Awesome

*2026-06-27, version 3.26.0*

Five for its exact performance. Not because it might feign some lofty attempt to capture your attention with a soft pop/poof into some far corner of your screen focus. Oh no.
Here we have an app that sends a storm-crack through your mindstream.
I am reluctant to use this stormy military campaign metaphor. But
THE APP IS SHOCK AND AWE.

—— [ Darkscreen Chime!!— HUH ⁄ WHAT¿!¡?... Announcement... Snooze-or-not.
The time is what, WHAT? OK. Dismiss Handled. ] ——
Oh yeah, I bought this particular raise-ed finger app for THIS VERY purpose.
It can arrest me fully, then steer me toward another task or event, and even link me directly to online meetings.
Thereby the AWE.

### 5/5 — Finally I never miss meetings!

*2026-06-04, version 3.25.4*

Calendar notifications are so useless. I need ALARMS and this is app does it so well!

### 5/5 — I love an app that does one thing and does it well

*2026-05-30, version 3.25.4*

If you are someone who gets a lot of notifications and have an issue with missing the important ones, this app is for you. It brings your computer to a screeching halt so you **cannot** ignore it. Which is exactly what I needed

### 5/5 — It’s really in your face!

*2026-05-29, version 3.25.4*

Excellent little utility that literally takes over your computer and tell you IN YOUR FACE that your appointment is due, or a reminder. LOL! I love it.

### 5/5 — Must Have This App

*2026-05-18*

It has been a long time since I’ve come to depend on any piece of software, but this is one I will never be able to live without again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This is perfect software. It solves an immediate and important issue, it has minimal frills, and does the job of keeping me from missing meetings extremely well. I have not recommended an app to anyone in 20 years, but I tell everyone I can that this is necessary equipment to survive in the modern world of business.

### 5/5 — Finally.

*2026-05-15, version 1.5.1*

Finally i have a shot at not missing meetings.

### 5/5 — Saving me from missing meetings for over a year now!

*2026-05-13, version 3.25.1*

100% the most useful utility I have ever installed on my Mac. A full screen, “In Your Face” reminder, with the video link if needed, right before the video starts? And lands on all my monitors? AMAZING. Also, the developer is amazingly responsive. Absolutely essential tool for the easily distracted, or the very hard to pull out of concentration mode.

### 5/5 — Seamlessly simple. Totally effective

*2026-05-12*

Seamlessly simple. Totally effective at getting you not to miss meetings
