An enhancement I would like to see in the action list is the ability to call up past actions that have not been completed. I used the app meeting gold which had that feature and it was invaluable. ### 4/5 — Good app but backup is a problem *2015-12-09* There is no restore mode and it only backs up once a day. You can't ask it to back up. You have to send out individual PDFs from each day you make an entry. Too much trouble, it's a shame because it's a great idea and hopefully will improve. I have had ongoing problems with my keyboard and I have replaced my iPad twice and keep doing restore. I just deleted this app and did a reset and it's gone. I'll come back and correct this if it comes back. Has anyone else had a problem with the keyboard going out of control since they have had this app? It types many of the same letter or skips letter. I can barely use the iPad to write. Very annoying & for the moment it's gone, since I deleted this App. I'm not sure this is the problem but I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem. It has been happening though 3 different iOS versions and sometimes I can make it go away by clicking the home button three times. ### 4/5 — Clean, easy to use *2015-11-12* I've tried many other apps for note taking and think I finally found 'the one'. It's simple, easy to use, and has some nice features. Other apps are so complicated - I'm looking for a meeting log, not a graphics-heavy journal. Wish list: 1. Ability to sync to something besides Dropbox. OneDrive (for Business) or WebDAV would be great for more secure (=corporate) use. 2. Is that being considered? ### 4/5 — A clever app for your meeting's admin *2015-05-19, version 1.1.9* I'm very impressed with this meetings app. I spend too much time on the layout of department minutes when I word process them after a meeting. This app takes care of the style issues allowing you to concentrate on the content and actions. The app is simple to use and the help section is clear. The ability to produce a new file from previous meetings is simple. Sharing an agenda and then adding notes is straightforward and emailing minutes as a PDF is really slick. The integration with attendees, agenda items and tasks are time saving feature. Some ideas for improvements: Allow some additional text formatting when writing notes - bold and coloured text would be useful. Add a 'location field' to the meeting header - often the meeting venue can vary so it would be helpful to be able to include this and for it to appear on the agenda and minutes. ### 4/5 — Great But.... *2015-01-26, version 1.1.9* Would be great if you could sync, open and edit with iPhone. It also allows me to just export or email these notes easily. Just two request: 1. Ability to sync to a cloud service (iCloud, Evernote, etc) 2. This has a great interface and allows you to concentrate on getting the job done as painlessly as possible without trying to figure out how everything works. A perfect blend of simplicity and power. I love the way it learns your previously used terms and auto-corrects any typos perfectly based on those. For me it would be five stars if the following were added/fixed: - a companion iPhone app - better sync options - a way for longer names/agenda points to be added without being cut off when in viewing mode. Other than these small issues, it's literally a godsend!! ### 5/5 — Easily the best meeting app around *2014-05-23, version 1.1.7* Tried several options but this is a great app. Store all of your notes, creates agendas and actions, simply email them to participants - saves so much time. Never again trawl through pages of your notebook to find a meeting - just search for a keyword and it's done. However, the facility to upload to Dropbox is faulty and the creator does not answer emails to assist with fault fixing. Means you can't add tasks or edit attendees without first closing the 'Notes' window. Yeah. Not good. Will check back in 12 months to see if this app has 'matured' into something more useable. UPDATE (21 September 2013): Unfortunately, the developer still hasn't addressed the lack of inline note entry. Same flawed, unintuitive user interface and poor functionality as the original release, with no significant development. A real shame. ### 2/5 — No Sync Across Devices *2019-10-22* This APP ONLY needs to provide the ability to synch the data across other devices and then it will be great. I want to be able to view my meeting notes on my desktop, laptop, iPad and phones so that I have the information with me whenever and wherever possible. The Dropbox back up is VERY difficult to set up and I have NEVER been able to make it work. This is the best note taking application I can find but it is useless when it is limited to one device. I would gladly pay licensing fees to have all of my devices synchronized in real time for changes to my notes. All of the music pre-fabs focus on time. I was looking for a focus around the individual pieces, such that I would know when I played a piece last, what I did, where I left it, and what to do next time. This Meetings app is doing the job perfectly. I use one file per day. My pieces are loaded as 'Attendees'. The 'Notes' allows me to annotate what was done on each and what needs to happen next time. I create 'Action Items' from the notes, and assign them to an individual 'Attendee' (song). When I begin the next day's practice, I review my repertoire list and decide what I will work on, then import the tasks associated with each piece as an 'Agenda Item'. I love having everything in digital form, as it is searchable and archivable. And this Slidetorock app's pre-formatting means that I don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of my limited practice time writing down notes. ### 5/5 — Simple and Intuitive *2017-06-03* This is a really simple and straightforward app, and it works perfectly for me. Honestly, I'm really selective when it comes to applications, because I build them for a living. I know how hard it is to keep feature sets from overwhelming basic User functionality. This is simple and intuitive, syncs with Dropbox for archival purposes, has just the right amount of customization. I love that there are only two options; tasks and notebooks. And that your tasks list out all the captured action items from your notebooks is really genius. Product and developments have really thought about usability and how to make note taking elegant. I've used Evernote, Asana, JIRA with Confluence, all sorts of complex fancy pants systems. What you need is a way to take notes in meetings, send the notes around to those you select and then actually do the things that were requested in the meeting. Sounds straightforward. But if you're in constant meetings, and never get a moment to think, it's not. Now, with "Meetings" ... it is. I use this on my iPad Pro, in conjunction with OmniFocus2 and a moleskine notebook. I still take notes by hand, often, but will type them up quickly with the help of the format, which has just the right number of options and layout. Perfect. Don't listen to all those who want to add extra bells and whistles, it's way harder to make something simple that works. "Meetings" works. Boom. If I'm taking notes on meetings I need to be able to type quickly and accurately. This app facilitates that. Being able to choose which sections are displayed for each meeting helps this. The developer is very responsive to suggestions as well, like the request to add photographs to Meetings. ### 5/5 — Super App *2015-06-23* I downloaded this app and then forgot about it for a while. That was dumb. This is a great and handy app. It formats notes quickly and the email options (in-line, PDFs or text) are just right. I use it for notes from tel calls and meetings. I'd like to be able to add a check box for tel call versus meeting and a "client" line but perhaps too much customization would take away from its clean, simple look. No complaints. Download it.
