## What is Mega Maps?

Mega Maps helps you explore nearby places and navigate with confidence.

Search for a destination or choose a point directly on the map, compare available routes, and start turn-by-turn navigation. Clear maneuver guidance, trip progress, route overview, and voice instructions help you stay oriented throughout your journey.

Features:

- Interactive light and dark maps
- Standard, satellite, and OpenStreetMap-based map layers
- Current location and map recentering
- Place and point-of-interest search
- Nearby place details
- Route planning for driving, cycling, and walking
- Alternative route selection when available
- Turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance
- Route progress, lane guidance when available, and arrival handling
- Saved places and recent searches stored on your device
- Local weather information for your current area

Location access is optional for browsing the map. It is needed to show your position, build routes from your current location, and provide live navigation. Continued background location access is requested only when active navigation needs to continue while Mega Maps is not visible.

Some features and map coverage depend on network availability and regional data.
