So I was incredibly excited to see that it was getting a sequel. While I don't personally think it matches the original, it's definitely a great bite-sized hardcore platformer, and I'm incredibly glad that OrangePixel took this game in another direction and made something so similar yet fairly different. So many sequels are just 'more of the same', but here, things have been a little streamlined while still retaining the challenge and intensity that made the original Meganoid so much fun! Each Meganoid game is similar enough that they could all be combined into one game, but different enough that they could each be considered a different 'gameplay mode', so they're all worth checking out even if you own the newest title-- Meganoid 2017. Here's hoping the original gets the revived 2018 treatment as well!!! OH, THANK YOU FOR BRINGING ALL THESE CLASSIC GAMES BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!! Expect to die numerous times per minute until you get it right. This game is for master platformer gamers.
