Even the simplest tasks like searching for a product, and the wheel spins eternally. My god. I’m just trying to buy some cherries. ### 2/5 — Glitchy, buggy, freezes *2026-08-22, version 10.71.0* I loved this app. And now when I search for anything or unclip coupons or almost any other action, it freezes and won’t do anything. I have to force close it, and even then after I reopen it nothing works. Meijer, this app was so amazing and worked so well, please fix all of these bugs! ### 2/5 — Please change the coupons back!! *2026-08-21, version 10.71.0* The new layout of the coupons is awful. It's so easy to miss the "just for you" section altogether because it looks like an ad, and there is no longer an option to view the coupons organized by category, which makes it really difficult to make a shopping list from them. It would also be nice to choose if you want the coupons in the old layout where you could read the full description across the screen instead of the small boxes. ### 2/5 — Broken shopping list *2026-08-18, version 10.71.0* I use this app weekly and I noticed this past weekend that I could not remove items from my shopping list. This is very frustrating and was hoping the latest update would correct it but I updated the app and it is still broken. Very buggy ### 2/5 — Worst Grocery App *2026-08-18, version 10.71.0* I’m not at all impressed with the experience of this app. The cart has nothing to do with the shopping list, the shopping list has nothing to do with the store you are shopping in. Recently the list won’t update an item to unchecked when you uncheck it from the checked items, you can’t delete an item in the list unless you uncheck it. Seriously bad experience. Their Design team should audit the Publix app as a good grocery app example. It will arrange your list by aisle for the store you are shopping and also display on your list those items on sale. Saves a ton of time. Then it’s harder to track what I have and what I still need. (Issue has been present for at least 5d) You can add things to it, but cannot “check” nor delete them from the list. Tried swapping left as well as editing the count and “trashing” the item. Have tried different iphone models, ipad, logged off/on from the app, restarted devices…. “Please try again. We weren’t able to remove this item.” Maybe it is a plot to drive sales by making customers believe they need more things. ;-) Generally the app is ok… hoping the issue is addressed soon. ### 3/5 — Glitchy after update *2026-08-18, version 10.71.0* I’ve loved this app for years and have used it a lot for the shop and scan. I love keeping the list on my phone and checking it off as I go but the latest update is not allowing me to check or remove items. I confirmed my phone is up to date with the latest IOS, removed app, restarted phone and redownloaded the app and the same issue continues. Please update this app or revert back to the old version until these issues are corrected. This used to be a really functional great app until these last 2 updates that broke the shopping list interface. The most annoying part is that this recent update glitches on using SNAP benefits when checking out. It just doesn’t do anything (just circles/buffers for hours on end). I had to house the desktop version and only because I did not feel like re-shopping everything on another app. But I’m not going to bother using the desktop version every time from now on. Aren’t upgrades/updates to make more user friendly and effective for the business. With this new/updates I’m spending way less money than prior to ‘new and improved’. I preview the ad before shopping. I used to be able to click on an item and add to my list, but now you can only add it to a cart. There’s no option for adding to a list. Also, the ad is very glitchy. It jumps around when you try to zoom in/out, and it often doesn’t load properly. Please fix these items. Cannot login on the app but can login from a web page? Ever since the 10.48.0 release it didn’t load my clipped coupons into the clipped coupons tab. I logged out, deleted and reinstalled the app and now can’t get back in. I get an error ‘unable to sign in’ on the app. I then request a code to log in and never get the email with the code? Tried at least five times and still no email with the code. The app was more user friendly than using a web page. We have always liked Meijer, friendly, courteous and helpful. I have researched and Meijer is always cheaper. Please help your customers by accepting our food cards, Nations benefits through Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
