## What is Meiki?

Meiki helps you see your makeup collection clearly — what you own, what's about to expire, and what deserves to be used up before you buy another one.

Add a product, take a photo, and Meiki removes the background for you. Set a purchase date and an expiration date, and the collection starts organizing itself.

WHAT YOU OWN 
• Catalog every product with a photo, brand, shade or version, and your own notes 
• Automatic background removal turns any snapshot into a clean product image 
• Sort into Eyes, Lips, Face and Others 
• Search by name, filter by category 
• Repurchased something? Duplicate it instead of typing it all again

WHAT'S EXPIRING 
• Every product carries a purchase date and an expiration date 
• Quick buttons set expiry to 1, 3 or 6 months, 1 or 2 years — no scrolling through a calendar 
• The Status tab gathers everything expiring in the next 3 months, grouped by category 
• Your list always leads with whatever expires first

WHAT IT ADDS UP TO 
• An interactive chart breaks your collection down by category 
• Tap a slice to see how much of your stash lives in each one 
• Seeing the whole picture makes it harder to buy the eleventh nude lipstick

WHY ANY OF THIS MATTERS 
Makeup doesn't last forever. Once a product is past its date, its ingredients break down and bacteria have somewhere to grow — which is why old mascara and eyeliner get linked to eye infections, and old lip products to sores. And every item that expires half-used is money spent and plastic thrown out.

Meiki includes short, readable notes on all of this, so the app tells you why it's nudging you, not just when.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT 
No account. No sign-up. No cloud. Everything you add — photos included — stays on your iPhone. Meiki doesn't need an internet connection to work, because it never sends your collection anywhere.
