### 1/5 — Do not use as a tourist!

*2022-07-25, version 3.0.305*

You have to make an account and it doesn’t let you select many countries, for example… the US! After half an hour of jumping through hoops to make an account, it required BOTH email AND text verification. As I’m in a foreign country, my phone number is turned off and I had to abandon the whole thing. App crashes and is hard to navigate on top of everything. Maybe good for locals, but don’t waste your time with this and head to a local bike shop if you’re visiting.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your valuable feedback. Since then, we have made the registration process more international. However, verification of an e-mail address and a cell phone number are necessary for authentication in order to make the rental bike system as secure as possible. Good app performance can be enjoyed in the latest app version. We look forward to a second try on your next visit!

2. City area vs. suburb bikes: Rental bikes that belong to the city area and cannot be returned to the suburbs are now marked by appropriate icons. Conversely, rental bikes from the suburbs cannot be returned in the city area (also marked with icons)!

Attention! We have changed the process of how the rental is terminated:
1. Close lock first and follow the process to the end.
2. Decide whether to
  - Park bike (to ride on later, the chargeable rental continues!) or
  - End rental (provided you are at a suitable station).
3. After choosing End rental: Follow the process, fill in the feedback and wait for the end of rental confirmation!
