MeinJena app is your everyday companion for Jena. Discover features around mobility, living in Jena, news, events, waste disposal calendar and even more. Extra benefit: access to the free MeinJena WiFi.




All features in detail:



1. MeinJena WiFi

Surfing without costs. MeinJena allows you free access to the internet. There are several hotspots where you can use the WiFi: Find all hotspot location on www.meinjena.de

You just need to sign up to use the free WiFi:

1. Download the app MeinJena

2. Register with your email address and a password and validate your email address.

3. Activate WiFi as soon as you are at a MeinJena hotspot



2. Public transport in Jena and Thuringia

Arrive on time. Every time.
Your connections, your trips: 
With the route planner, not only can you find all bus and tram lines of Jena but also stops from your current position and departure times including delays. Use MeinJena to plan your trips in the entire area of the „Verkehrsverbund Mittelthüringen“ (VMT). Stay informed with the network plans and timetable changes of Jena’s public transport. E-car charging stations: On Google Maps, we show you every electric charging station in Jena with all important information for your electricity tank, such as occupancy, approval, location and of course connector type.



Find instead of search: With the parking space finder in MeinJena you can look stress-free how many free parking spaces there are currently in Jena. All 25 parking spaces and five parking garages in the city of Jena are shown to you (in perspective). There is further information on parking fees, opening times and accessibility of the individual parking spaces.

An und für sich finde ich es ja wunderbar, dass man als Student das Deutschlandticket bekommt, nur dass ich es leider nicht nutzen kann. Das Ticket wurde korrekt eingestellt, nur kann ich seit mehreren Tagen den QR code nicht einsehen. Auch nach mehrmaliger Aktualisierung der Ticketseite, bleibt das Feld grau hinterlegt. Seit heute bekomme ich auch die Fehlermeldung der Server sei nicht zu erreichen. Das ist jetzt nicht das erste mal. Bitte löst das Problem, ich möchte ungern 60€ zahlen, nur weil die App, an die ich unfreiwillig gebunden bin, nicht funktioniert.

Kommunale Infrastruktur sollte keine oder möglichst wenige Daten sammeln. Nachbesserung ist angebracht. Bis dahin gefährlicher Softwaremüll.

Es ist zwar ein herrlicher Aprilscherz, dass mein Deutschlandticket (trotz erfolgreicher Aktivierung vor einer Woche) nicht in der App angezeigt wird, die 3x60€ Strafe, die ich bisher heute deswegen zahlen musste, waren allerdings kein Aprilscherz. Immerhin bin ich soweit gesund.

Man ist gezwungen die App für das Deutschlandticket zu benutzen, kann aber regelmäßig sein Ticket nicht in der App einfügen, weil keins gefunden wird. Wenn dann doch mal ein Ticket gefunden wird, funktioniert der Button ‘hinzufügen’ nicht. Zu allem übel freezed die App gelegentlich bei einer Ticketkontrolle.
