## What is Melbits™ POD?

Melbits™ POD is a companion app. Melbits™ POD tech toy is required to experience the gameplay. Melbits™ POD toy is sold separately.

Melbits are digital pixies that live inside all connected devices: consoles, PCs and now your mobiles and tablets. The Melbits' mission is to protect the Internet. 

You'll have to hatch as many as it takes to maintain Internet's delicate balance!. Unlike any other virtual pets, you will have to use the forces of nature in the real world to give them energy: motion, light and temperature!

Use your imagination to hatch them all. There are hundreds of Melbits to discover, to care of and customize! Each with its peculiarities and personalities.

- Use the Melbits POD, an interactive toy equipped with temperature, light and movement sensors. You will have to use your imagination to complete the different incubation missions that your Melbits need to grow.

- Six main Melbit families. Each with its own traits, depending on the incubation they received.

- As you complete the different incubation missions, using a combination of natural elements and your imagination, you will unlock new Melbits, accessories and exclusive abilities.

I saw really good reviews for this game, so I downloaded it. But then, when u started it said my POD was not connected?! Does that mean I have to buy the flipping toy to get pets??? It made no sense. I’d rather play the tamigachi game than this. Please fix it so I can get pets! Thanks, pls recommend it, I’m waiting! :)

My son loves this game and he loves his Melbits™ Pod but he keeps asking me when they’re gonna come out with the update he said the process making melbits releasing them and then making more was getting a little boring this is a great game but needs an update!

Ok so the game is super cool and it looks soooo cute but i press play i shake my ipad like it says but in the end do you have to lay your ipad down? Pls comment down to i actuall6 think the app is cool but i will try to fix this.

I find the game really relaxing and laid back. Good game to de-stress and unwind.

Could be improved by

The ability to change the floor of the Melbits world from blue to different colours. Maybe special event flooring like Christmas and Easter pattern flooring.
Would be amazing if the POD with future updates could communicate with the Melbits World game.

I really recommend this app to anyone any age from 3 to 50. 
Once you get the hang of it it is so much fun it has no adds what so ever. 
You can do so much stuff with it to, but you have to have the melbits pod otherwise there’s no point getting it because you can do anything with it ( with out the pod )

My friend I were super excited for this when we saw the Kickstarter last year. We’re both women in our 30’s and have a lot of nostalgic memories of playing with the Tamagotchi as kids. The trailers gave me the impression that Melpods would use the same model, but expanding into a more interactive model. Instead, it’s mostly been about collecting Melbots by playing with the sensor settings. Even for a child, trying to hatch or evolve a Melbot isn’t very challenging. I don’t really get the point of viruses or sending your Melbot into the internet to fight them.

Nonetheless, it is kinda cute even if I’ll probably end up finishing collecting all the Melbots within a week. Hopefully, the manufacturer has more in development to make this toy a more fun and interactive toy.

Some things I would love to see:

1. More interactive content.
2. Mini Games
3. More Melbots variety
4. Melbots that can only be collected during certain weather events
5. Being able to have more then one Melbot in the pod
6. A Melbot buddy (doesn’t need to hatch or evolve) that can be left in the pod for activities away from the phone. You have to do certain activities to get a bonus. 
7. Daily and weekly quests for bonus items
8. Friends request and being able to visit other people’s Melbots (Melbot homes?)
9. Melbots homes that you can decorate with items that you’re rewarded from quests.
10. More things you need to do to care for your Melbot besides feeding and pets.

I love this thing, it’s awesome for me and my kids cause it gives us something to play together and use our brains. My kids come up with the craziest evolution spells!! (And we’ll, maybe I did too once or twice) totally recommended!!
