It is impossible to use to book parking, the screen glitches at the point of payment and you cannot tell if you have paid and booked or not. I get the feeling that they sit there and monitor how many times users try to get a tick to stick. Not user friendly, continually crashes. However after eating my time, was trying to pay via ApplePay and that was it. No payment requested and said I would need to provide QR code rather than CC to enter/exit car park. But no QR supplied. Check boxes that can’t be checked, payment screens that vanish and return to the previous screen. For someone on the go it’s inconvenient to have to go on a computer to book parking. Trying to give them money for parking and the app doesn’t respond and makes it impossible. Lift your game Melbourne Airport. ### 1/5 — So bad *2024-02-08, version 2.7.3* Impossible to use the app to book parking. Repeatedly jumps to the top of the screen as you enter data and it is really hard to scroll back down, as the page moves slightly sideways when you try. It is obviously not reactive to the phone size being used. The mandatory checkboxes do not let you check them and when I tried to create an account said my email was already in use, but I never receive a password reset email when requested. When I tried to use Facebook to login, told me that the app was not registered with FB and got an error that you can’t get back from, had to hard close the app and start again, losing everything I had entered. Are you friggin serious? How do I get the mandatory QR code on my phone - easily and intuitively? As other posters have said it jumps from screen to screen and you cannot complete your booking. I attempted to book parking: it won’t scroll properly, continually jumping back to a previous point, and then when I finally managed to enter my details for payment, there was no way I could find to progress. It also flicked between the booking and payment pages without apparent stimulus. Given how dependent MelAir is on cars and how much they charge, it beggars belief they can’t do a better app at this stage in history. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pointless app, all it does is collect your data. *2026-05-24, version 2.7.6* Avoid this app. The app doesn't have a login like the web version, so you can't retrieve your prepaid carpark booking. What is the point of the app other than trying to sell you more useless things and collect your daily usage and activity to sell it to 3rd party data broker? ### 1/5 — Possibly the worst app ever *2026-03-01, version 2.7.6* Impossible to use. Maybe it’s intentional not to be able to book parking through app so people go and pay at gate prices and on paper they can claim we are the cheapest parking among major airports. I wish one day they will direct some money from constant price increases to have a functioning app for parking( hopefully before Melbourne airport rail or fourth runway expansion announcements).
