## What is Meld?

Meld turns your phones into a deck of cards for the people you actually know. Deal Texas Hold'em around one table, or across five cities. Same friends, same chips, same running score.

HOST A TABLE IN SECONDS
One phone hosts. Friends on the same Wi-Fi join with a QR code or a spoken code. No accounts, no sign-ups, no strangers. Or open an online table and send a link, and friends join from anywhere. Anyone can also just watch.

A SHUFFLE NOBODY CAN STACK
Every phone adds randomness to the shuffle, so nobody can stack the deck, not even the phone running the table. Each phone checks the result automatically when the night ends. The app tells you honestly what it has checked and what it hasn't.

THE TABLE SURVIVES YOUR PHONE
If the host's battery dies mid-hand, the table doesn't. Another phone picks it up and the night carries on, chips exactly where they were. A player who drops gets their seat held, and their chips are never touched behind their back.

HONESTY, NOT BOUNCERS
The table says out loud when a player leaves the app or stops answering mid-hand. Nothing is ever folded, kicked or removed automatically. You can see what's happening, and the people at the table decide.

REMEMBER THE NIGHT
Keep your regular table as a group: every night's results in one running ledger: who's up, who's down, across weeks. Hand history and your own stats live on your phone. All of it stays on your device.

NEW TO POKER?
A short course teaches Texas Hold'em from zero, and a practice table with bots lets you learn the ropes with nothing at stake. One phone and a living room? Pass & play works too.

PLAY MONEY, AND ONLY PLAY MONEY
Chips in Meld have no cash value. There is nothing to buy, nothing to win but bragging rights, and no way to play for real money. No ads, no accounts, no tracking.
