It is ridiculous that there is no Turkish language support in the machine but not in the application. Türkiye can use the machine but not the application? Turkish language support needs to be added to the application urgently. Damit entfällt auch die Möglichkeit den Lieblingskaffee via Shortcut per Siri- Sprachbefehl zu ordern. Eine Möglichkeit, die ich jahrelang sehr gern genutzt habe. Now it’s stopped working all together. No bluetooth connection at all. Machine reset to factory setting, app deleted and reinstalled, deleted all data and started from fresh, nothing. Just states No connection (F6). No one else is connected. Shame to create a relatively competent and expensive machine and fail to deliver the promised user experience for customers. As stated by others over YEARS: 1. coffee starts to be made as soon as I click into an option, before I can make any adjustments (eg choosing 2x or strength) 2. Machine randomly stops part way through making the coffee. 3. App prioritises images at top of screen, covering over the functional menu buttons below. Additionally it would be great to change the firmware on the machine to allow custom brews to replace the standard choices ( eg latte replacing cappuccino for the cappuccino button) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bluetooth failing *2026-02-14, version 1.66.42* App is not usable. Самсунг без проблем ### 1/5 — Terrible Ukrainian translation *2025-05-25, version 1.66.42* App is buggy, frequently loses connection, doesn’t store profile images, hanging, etc. But the most annoying thing is the terrible Ukrainian translation in Barista TS Smart. Never seen so many mistakes in the single appliance. For example, Ukrainian word “cappuccino” has two mistakes in single word. And there are plenty of them. Such technically perfect machine but with such ugly wording. Who did it for you, Melitta? Shame on them! By the way, if you really care and want to improve, we can arrange free certified translation. Just contact me and we will see if we can help I really want my lovely Barista TS Smart which makes perfect coffee to be perfect from all sides! ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2025-04-21, version 1.66.42* After every coffee gets stuck in a loop to cancel the current coffee. Only way out is to quit the app. You then have to reconnect to the machine every time as if it’s the first time you’ve connected the machine. Невозможно подключить кофемашину ### 1/5 — This app has gone backwards since my last review *2025-01-06, version 1.66.42* Melitta changed the app in 2024 meaning when you tapped your favourite drink it automatically started making as opposed to allowing you to alter it first. To change your drink you now have a series of button pushes to get into it and it takes longer. Not sure how it made any sense to do this. Fewer button pushes is always the best. They’ve reduced button pushes to make the drink by one tap with the cost of adding multiple button pushes to alter the drink first. Second…when you do other things on your phone and then switch back to the Melitta app it brings up a box telling you that says “Cancel dispensing…Would you like to cancel The current dispensing?” This is despite the last coffee successfully being made. Then when you push “OK” it switches screens and says “An error has occurred Please check the status of your fully automatic coffee machine” and the app remains disconnected from the coffee machine and won’t allow you to reconnect. The only answer is to force quit the app and restart it. So many bugs and not fixed for months. Please Melitta - can you do something about this?
