Clicked ‘save’ as instructed, click ’generate’ (have Pro subscription, so plenty of credits), and nothing happened. The app just stays there on the same stupid screen. For a paid subscription, you’re better off trying BandLab to do the same. **Developer response:** We're really sorry about this - we completely understand how frustrating it is when the humming feature doesn't generate, especially as a Pro subscriber. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Character limit *2026-07-21* It says you can do 3500 characters but then when you put in 3500 characters for your lyrics it won't create, it says your characters must be 3000 at most.... so what is the point of it saying that I can do 3500 characters?? I literally had to remove parts of the song already and compress it down to fit the 3500 character box. Including removing sections that listed where the hook was where the bridge was [HOOK] [Bridge] every single line space that could be considered extra as as well as every single punctuation mark I could possibly get away with getting rid of and then had to delete an entire verse just to get it to generate to see what it would sound like, and then it failed to generate twice with under 3000 characters, when I've already completed this song in Full with the full amount of characters on Suno which gave me an amazing song that's already listed on Spotify I was literally using that same song to check this out to see how it would do it and if I was gonna like this app better or worse than Suno and it's already failed. **Developer response:** Hi there, and thank you so much for your feedback! In our next update, coming within 48 hours, the character limit will be raised to 5,000, so you'll have plenty of room for your full lyrics and formatting. Thanks again for giving Melodize a try! ### 1/5 — Where’s you proof *2026-07-19* Sounds like a joke, it’s not even singing the lyrics it’s talking them out. It’s very far from a song period. **Developer response:** Hi Larry, thanks for your feedback. The behavior you're describing usually comes down to how the voice was trained. When you train a voice, the app learns from the sample you provide, so if the training sample is spoken (read out) rather than sung, the resulting voice will tend to talk the lyrics instead of singing them.
