## What is Melodo?

Draw a line. Hear a melody.

Melodo turns your drawings into music. The shape of your stroke is the melody, its height is the pitch, and its color is the instrument. Every note snaps to the scale you pick, so there are no wrong notes. Anyone can compose a song, with no music lessons needed.

HOW IT WORKS
• Draw on the canvas. Higher lines play higher notes.
• Pick a color to pick an instrument. Layer colors for harmony and chords.
• Press play and watch your drawing become a song.
• Switch to Grid view to fine-tune every note, step by step.

COMPOSE IN ANY SCALE
• Scales from around the world: Japanese, Indian, Middle Eastern, blues, the classic modes and more
• Choose the key, tempo, swing and octave range
• Changes apply live while the music plays

MAKE IT YOURS
• Several instrument voices, plus a bass layer and a background pad
• Move, erase, undo and redo any stroke
• Shuffle for instant inspiration

SHARE WHAT YOU MAKE
• Send your song as a link
• Export MIDI and keep producing in your favorite music studio app

Great for kids, beginners and musicians who want a new kind of instrument.
