## What is MelodyScape?

MelodyScape turns real places and journeys into living soundtracks with Apple Music. Create maps, draw zones or routes, and assign music from Apple Music. As you enter an area or progress along a route, MelodyScape can automatically begin, change, or stop playback.

### 1.1.8 — 2026-09-06

Fixed an issue that prevented users from purchasing monthly and yearly Premium plans. Premium subscriptions are now available, including a 14-day free trial with the yearly plan for eligible new subscribers.

Walking routes now support travel in either direction and automatically adapt when you turn around.

New users can try MelodyScape Premium free for 14 days with the yearly plan. Eligible new subscribers can explore unlimited Maps, Routes, and Shapes, plus collaboration with friends and family.

Improved the transition from Premium to Free. If your Premium plan ends, you can choose one map (and all its existing routes and shapes) to keep active. Your other maps remain available to view until you resubscribe. This update also includes clearer messaging and reliability improvements.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-09-01

MelodyScape is now available in Russian, including the app, widgets, navigation guidance, permission prompts, and subscription screens.

Improved layout consistency across languages in the music selection screen, preventing longer translated labels from extending beyond the display.

Added a free-tier usage counter and updated the free limit to 12 combined routes and shapes.
