The recent update pushes their AI bot replacing the only usable part of the previous app, which had it been the full desktop experience wouldn’t have been too bad. However it’s a painfully dumbed down version which returns absolute garbage results with nonsense sources and commentary. Please, either employ or consult with actual PR professionals to test your products. Nobody can be using this product regularly to sign this off. ### 1/5 — Links don’t open *2022-06-21, version 4.7* When I read summary reports from my emails, and click on hyperlinks to news articles, the app opens but freezes on the opening page. This problem is at least 4 months old. For such an expensive software there is no excuse for this ### 1/5 — Stuck on loading screen *2022-04-08, version 4.6* This app is rubbish compared to others in the market (Streem), I have been stuck on the loading screen for the past five minutes and counting. Email verification link doesn't work so i cannot create an account. The company failed at the first hurdle. Deleted app. ### 1/5 — Just didn’t work *2018-05-16* The app opens only on the native mail app and not on Microsoft Outlook for iPhone ### 1/5 — What about Algo? *2018-04-02* Meltwater acquired Algo last summer. Algo declared that updates were imminent. Nothing happened. Is Algo now abandoned? It hasn't been updated, no longer appears on the App Store, and the news items are now days old and growing older. Wouldn't common courtesy dictate that one or both companies make some sort of announcement to the users who supported Algo and made it a valuable property to purchase? Is Algo dead? Is Meltwater Mobile a replacement? How does one even get an account? Even if Meltwater/Algo is now pitched as an enterprise-only app, disregarding existing and potential users is not the best policy. ### 2/5 — Not Loading at All *2025-09-10* App won’t even load at Start. ### 2/5 — UX Is Amateur *2019-11-14* I login on my mobile browser. I try to go into settings. It asks me to use the app. I don’t want to but I install the app. I can’t use the app until I’ve done setup. No way to bypass. And it forces you to turn on notifications before you can use the app in any way. I don’t want notifications. To top it all off, the account settings I’m looking for aren’t in the app. The website settings cog doesn’t show the same options as the app one. This is basic UX stuff. ### 4/5 — Never seen an app so simple but helpful *2015-11-19* Powerful little app that let’s me access everything I need from the platform without going to my desktop. See graphs and trends, and key coverage drivers. Tag articles.
