The PoolDues.com Member Reservation app makes it incredibly easy to reserve tennis courts, poolside tables, lanes, whatever your club or HOA needs reservable. Clubs dealing with restricting capacity will love the ability to create reservable areas, and not risk overcrowding. You must already be a member of a specific facility to use the app. ### 1/5 — Horrible User Experience *2023-05-02* Our swim club just started using this app for reservations including tennis and lap swimming. I will say that for lap swimming, the user experience is quite abysmal. In fact, the whole mobile experience is horrible that I highly recommend that folks just use the website on a computer. The biggest design flaw in the system is that it is lane-base driven instead of by time-slot. The reality is that almost everyone schedules based on a desired time, the lane is secondary. Folks have schedules (e.g., they work during the day) and often want to just search for availability at a certain time. With the app, you need to click on each lane and then scroll down to see if that time slot is available. It is quite cumbersome and tedious. In addition, the lanes are just numbered consecutively. Our club often likes to offer 2 or 3 swim slots to a lane. Imagine having to figure out which lane you’re in when it is numbered from 1-24 (unlike the website which allows clubs to customize the labeling). Lastly, there is a date selector on top which refreshes as you scroll, even when you don’t want to see a particular date. This is another annoyance as it’s easy to pick the wrong date and have to wait a few seconds for the refresh before selecting another date. And the date picker will just scroll endlessly as well even beyond allowable booking dates. These are just a few of the many problems with this app. Hopefully, the app developers will consider a serious overhaul of the UX. ### 5/5 — Was gonna ding 1 star *2019-08-24* Love the app and it does make everything much more simple than it was. I was gonna ding it a star because of the color scheme but then my keen eyed wife informed me it was mimicking a pool.
