It becomes a struggle to go back and edit. Hard to find on line help/tips ### 3/5 — Can’t cancel subscription *2025-09-09* Signed up for subscription service, and then deleted my account. After your account’s deleted, there’s no way to cancel your subscription without getting in contact with them so I’ve been getting charged for months for an account. I don’t even have. EDIT: They refunded me for the months this was the case, that is still a poor service model. Subscriptions should be canceled upon deletion. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. To clarify, account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. However, once an account is deleted, the subscription will not renew, and you should not be charged further. I added a caption to a photo but the app attached it to a different photo. I haven’t once been able to open the app and access a video I’m the organizer for. I always just go online. ### 3/5 — Mostly ok *2025-01-08* Where’s the sound? My husband and I own a DJ company of which I take a lot of photos and video with the intent of sharing it with the bride and the groom I’m so happy that the photos show up really well. I can’t for the life of me figure out why our video has no sound. I see dancing. I have no clue what the song is. Tells you to record in landscape but when you rotate the phone it doesn’t update properly. Recorded a video anyway, but no idea where it went. Do not waste your time ### 1/5 — app keeps crashing & you can’t zoom in on photos *2024-09-17, version 3.1.2* app crashes every time i scroll thru the photos on an album. also you can’t zoom in on photos in the app, you have to save them to your phone if you want to zoom in ### 1/5 — Wipes all the data from photos - avoid *2024-06-02, version 3.1.2* This is a great idea in principle, but in practice it’s caused a nightmare. Even though the app recognises the exif data of photos (so the date, time and location they were taken) and allows the group to organise the memento folder according to when the photos were taken, the second you download them to your device this data is completely wiped, meaning you’ll have to enter all the dates and times in manually if you want them to appear in the order they were taken and on the right date. I wish I’d known this before our group uploaded 350 photos to share. They’re now either stuck in the Memento app or I’ll have to spend hours sorting out the mess in my photos app. I therefore recommend you avoid this app until they actually make it do what people need it to do when photos are shared. This is a huge bug that isn’t mentioned anywhere on the app or website. I contacted the creators who said they are aware it’s an issue and apologised. They should make this explicitly obvious on their app and website to avoid others having to face the same disappointment as we have until it’s rectified. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible and they will charge you $90 each year against your will *2026-06-11* This is a horrible app. I download the app two years ago and didn’t work. On top of that they have charged me $89 each year against my will. I called my CC company and they need this app to can let my “subscription” I sent multiple emails with no results. The functionality of the app works great, the lack of ways to interact with the company leaves a lot to be desired. The photos were blurry due to data in the file transfer being cut in half. How embarrassed am I after realizing my photos were blurry via memento as oppose to original photo? Humiliated. Click the link to download the app. It installs, you have to allow paste or it won’t take you to the group video. There is no mechanism to join a group video (maybe I should hunt around this worthless garbage app?). No it wants you to sign up. I have had many people tell me they recorded a video, uploaded but did not receive confirmation so I was unable to retrieve many videos.
