## What is Memento Mori?

Memento Mori: Death Clock — Your Life in Perspective

How much time do you really have left? Memento Mori: Death Clock transforms an ancient philosophical practice into a powerful daily reminder. Visualize your remaining time and make every moment count.

Why Memento Mori?
The Stoics believed that reflecting on death isn't morbid — it's liberating. By acknowledging that time is limited, you naturally focus on what truly matters. Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and other great thinkers practiced this daily.

Start your journey toward a more intentional life today.

### 5/5 — Great app, great developer, responsive and kind :)

*2026-06-15*

I thought this app was just perfect for me, gave me access to life goals and a journal while keeping me aware that life is finite. The developer even personally addressed a glitch I had with the journal feature and with the new update everything is working perfectly!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this kind review! I’m really happy the app is helping you reflect on life goals, journaling, and making the most of your time. I’m also glad the journal issue is fixed for you now. Your support means a lot and motivates me to keep improving the app.

### 5/5 — Minor request

*2026-06-11*

Please, bring back the previous widget font. The serif font was much more aesthetically fitting. Maybe an optional setting? If it is a setting, I apologize and will edit this. I couldn’t find it.
What a lovely app though. By far the best memento mori app. I would like to donate if the font is changed back.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind words! Great idea — we'll add a font option in an upcoming update so you can switch back to the serif font. Really appreciate the support and glad you enjoy the app! 🙏

### 5/5 — I didn’t expect an app about mortality to feel this… grounding, but here we are.

*2026-04-28*

Memento Mori – Death is honestly one of the most thought-provoking apps I’ve used in a long time. What pulled me in first were the life stats—it tracks things like how many times my heart has beaten, how many breaths I’ve taken, how many sunrises I’ve seen, even moon cycles. There’s something surreal about seeing your life translated into numbers like that. It’s humbling in a way that’s not heavy… just real.

And then it flips the perspective—showing you estimated counts of what’s still ahead: heartbeats, breaths, sunrises, even meals. That part hits different. Not in a scary way, but in a “maybe I should stop wasting time on things that don’t matter” kind of way.

I also love the section for important life dates—it makes you reflect on what actually shaped you. And the bucket list feature? Perfect little nudge to stop saying “one day” and start making plans.

But the thing that surprised me most—I just discovered it has a journal section. I’m genuinely excited about that. It feels like the missing piece… not just tracking life, but actually capturing it.

Overall, it’s not morbid like the name might suggest. It’s more like a quiet reminder to pay attention, be present, and maybe live a little more intentionally.

Didn’t think an app about death would make me feel more alive—but here we are.

It’s also a FREE APP. You can donate if you are able.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful feedback. We are honored that the app has served as a grounding reminder for you to stay present and focus on what truly matters. It is wonderful to hear that the new features are helping you transition from tracking life to truly capturing it.
We appreciate your support and your commitment to living intentionally!
