## What is 纪念日 Memento?

Memento — Keep a moment, and let the words gather.

I didn't want to make another calendar.
And I didn't want it to become a diary, either.

I just wanted a quiet place for the things I don't want to forget.

A family member's birthday.
The day you first met someone.
A trip that hasn't happened yet.
A day that changed something.
Or a theme you may want to keep writing about, little by little.

Each one gets its own page.

It can tell you:

27 days to go.
1,024 days together.

Not because life has to be counted all the time,
but because sometimes a number quietly reminds you:
this thing has been here.

You don't have to open it every day.
You don't have to write every day.
You don't have to sort your life into too many categories.

When you think of it, write a few lines.
Months later, come back and write a few more.

Each note keeps the season when it was written:
spring, summer, autumn, winter.

Like that moment was gently pressed between pages.

There is also a kind of memory space here.

Not every page has to be a traditional "anniversary".
It can also be a subject you keep returning to:
a relationship,
a period of life,
a question,
a promise,
or something you are still trying to understand.

Some things are not finished in one day.
They need time.
They need a place to be written again.

"If life were only as when we first met."

That was the first title I wrote down when I started using this app.
Later I realized that this sentence was not only about romance.
It was also about remembering the beginning of something,
and about keeping a small trace of what once mattered.

This app is not here to make memories heavier.
It is here to give them somewhere to stay.

Rice Paper, Ink Paper, Celadon, and Moon White.

Rice Paper and Ink Paper are free.
If you prefer the quieter tone of Celadon,
or the deeper feeling of Moon White,
you can unlock them with Pro.


— Three Typefaces —

Wenkai is soft and warm.
Shusong feels more formal.
Qinghei is clean and simple.

Wenkai is free.
Shusong and Qinghei are included in Pro.


— iCloud Sync —

No account.
No cloud dashboard.
No "syncing" panel.

If your device is signed in to iCloud,
your data syncs automatically.

You don't have to manage it.
If iCloud is not enabled, the app still works normally
and keeps your data on this device first.


— Two Ways to Unlock Pro —

Pro includes all paper styles, all typefaces,
medium widgets, yearly view,
and more sharing layouts.

Choose a yearly auto-renewing subscription
or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Manage or cancel the yearly subscription
in your Apple Account settings.

Existing lifetime purchases remain valid.


— What It Does Not Try to Do —

It does not make a monthly calendar.
It does not force category tags.
It does not ask you to record every day.
It does not turn a meaningful day into a task list.

Notifications can be turned off.
Or never turned on in the first place.

I just wanted to make a small place

Version 1.1 focuses on making memories richer — and easier to find again.

• Add photos, videos, audio, PDFs, and other files to a memory. View them locally, reorder them, or remove them from the memory.
• Search now finds both dates and memories and opens the right result directly. Dates and memories can also be marked separately.
• Reorder pinned dates manually. Gregorian and lunar dates are also presented more consistently across Home, details, Year View, reminders, and widgets.
• The free limit has increased from 3 dates to 7.

Also includes a local media storage overview and a new postcard icon.

Improved memory saving and the return transition for a smoother experience.
Fixed an issue where editing a memory could change the order of entries from the same day.
Fixed an occasional horizontal shift on the detail page after returning from another app.
