Night time writing would be much more enjoyable with a dark mode option please and thank you 👍 Such a great app, simple, organised, easy to use with no over the top bells and whistles. Really enjoy using it as a record as my memory is so terrible. ### 4/5 — Wish it was easier and quicker to use *2024-09-06* I love the concept! I wanted to create a gift for my mom’s 80th birthday by collecting photos and memories of her from family and friends, then organizing them across her life by life stage and decade. But it feels glitchy/unsmooth. It was easy to set up the timeline, but takes so long to load photos. And it took forever to add my dad as an editor to help out. I really hope the developers invest the time to polish things here. What a fantastic concept! I’d really like to have this for all of our family members, including my daughter and myself. I clicked confirm many times and nothing happens. I deleted and re-installed the app but same results. Frustrating experience. **Developer response:** Apologies for the issues! We really appreciate your kind words and hope you continue to have a great experience! ### 5/5 — What a gem! *2023-08-19, version 1.0.0* I started to write my life story several months ago on Pages and soon afterwards realised that, despite the many benefits of Pages, it didn’t provide me with the flexibility I needed. I therefore began to look for an app that would help me record my memories and, at the same time, provide a means of organising these memories into a semblance of order. Some of the apps I discovered might have done the job for me but many were very superficial and didn’t always focus on getting the ‘mechanics’ of the requirement right. MemLife is simply excellent. I’m now able to continue writing my story chronologically, separated by chapters of my choice. Importantly, whenever I recall an event or memory not already covered, I can jot it down immediately and connect this to the relevant chapter. Furthermore, MemLife uses iOS, iPadOS or MacOS to allow their inbuilt microphones to dictate entries should this be of value to the user. Images can also be uploaded to MemLife. MemLife can also share entries with others, if required and generate a .pdf file. It’s a great app….. ### 4/5 — Brilliant *2021-03-14, version 0.9.4* Great app and great the way it is structured. Could be huge this with a bit of love and care. Glitchy. I’d suggest the developer giving it more effort to make it snappier and pleasure to use. There’s always room for improvements. Best of luck! ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2020-01-27, version 0.9.3* Downloaded, installed. “Create account” - enter email and chosen password, press create account button. Nothing happens. Therefore, the app is completely useless as you can’t even create an account!! Probably a front for farming emails for spam lists. Hence One star. Completely and utterly Useless app. Don’t even bother. ### 2/5 — Nice concept but.... *2018-03-01, version 0.9.3* Absolutely infuriating that when you go to edit you cant enter the cursor to even get the keyboard up. Ridiculous, every time you get the word selected to cut copy paste but not the keyboard. The only way seems to be at the end of a line, delete back to where you want to alter and then type.
