## What is MemoDrop?

MemoDrop is a photo journal that helps you start with the photos you already have.

No blank page, no wondering what to write. Open a memory capsule to rediscover photos from your library and jot down a few thoughts, or choose your own photos to create a capsule from scratch.

The days you record gradually come together on your calendar. And when a memory feels worth saving for later, you can seal it away and open it again sometime in the future.

Start journaling with your photos

Open a random memory capsule to revisit photos, Live Photos, and videos you may not have seen in a while. Look back, then write down whatever comes to mind.

Create your own memory capsules

Choose your photos and turn a trip, a day together, or even an ordinary moment into a capsule of your own.

Your days, all in one place

Your memories and notes build up on your calendar over time. Come back later and see more than just dates—you’ll see the days you actually lived.

Save memories for the future

Keep the capsules you love, or seal one until a future date. When the time comes, open it again and see what it brings back.

See your memories on the map

MemoDrop uses the location information already stored in your photos to create place memories and maps, connecting moments from different times and places.

People, pets & food become stickers

MemoDrop can find people, pets, and food in your photos and turn them into stickers, giving every capsule a little more personality.

Keep memories on your Home Screen

Use widgets to keep favorite photos and stickers on your Home Screen, so your memories are always close by.

About MemoDrop Pro

Processed & stored on your device

Photo processing, subject detection, and sticker generation all happen on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to the developer’s servers, and no account is required to use MemoDrop.

You can also choose to enable iCloud to back up and sync the data needed to rebuild your capsules. MemoDrop does not upload your original photos to iCloud. Backup data is handled by Apple’s iCloud service.

### 5/5 — 不错的app

*2026-09-08*

**Developer response:**

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Character stickers are currently optimized to balance on-device processing speed and storage, so they may appear less sharp in some photos. We’ll keep improving the sticker quality.
For locations, the app currently prioritizes places where photos are more concentrated, so the displayed location may not always match every photo in the capsule. We’ll continue improving this as well. Thanks again for pointing these out!

### 5/5 — Nice

*2026-08-29*

MemoDrop is a really fun and helpful way to rediscover photos you forgot you had. 📸 I’d use it when I want to look back at old memories without endlessly scrolling through my camera roll. The mystery capsule idea makes each photo feel like a surprise, and the automatic stickers for people, pets, and food make creating memory cards even more fun.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the surprise of opening a capsule and rediscovering old photos. It means a lot to hear that MemoDrop is actually making looking back through your camera roll more fun.
