What's New in Memories

2.0.0

October 22, 2026

Memories 2.0: completely rewritten from the ground up! This release has many of the features you've asked for: - Brand new, simpler design, built for iOS 27. - Photo details: swipe up on any photo to see when and where it was taken, with a map. - Multi-select: pick several photos and videos at once in the grid to delete, favourite or share them together. - Better sharing of videos and Live Photos. - Pinch to zoom on photos and videos in the full-screen viewer. - New Timeline: see every day that has memories and jump straight to it. - More settings: show newest or oldest photos first, include or hide this year's photos, and choose what time your daily notification arrives. - Better widgets: tap a widget to open that photo in the app. A note for existing users: to support Memories' continued development, it now offers a subscription. To thank you for your support, existing users get a 3-month free trial, three times longer than new users get. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Thank you for using Memories! Feedback is always welcome via Settings → Send feedback.

Bait and Switched

This update takes away functionality I’ve been using for years and puts it into a priced tier. Wish I hadn’t updated the app. You guys stink.

No longer free

Recent update made this useless. Can no longer view full size photos unless you pay for a subscription. This is not how you monetize! You don’t take basic features away - add new ones that are useful enough to pay for. Greedy nonsense.
