### 1/5 — Doesn’t teach

*2020-07-04*

First, it starts with a ‘test’ to see your current understanding which is multiple choice without an ‘I don’t know’ answer, so some of these I got correct by sheer luck. After the test, it assumed I’d memorised these words because I answered them correctly. It doesn’t teach any words, it shows you a word or plays a sound clip and you have to guess the meaning yourself. It would benefit more with a brief ‘this is the word, this is the definition’ then you have to repeat the definition. The app is confusing and you can get better ones for free, it isn’t worth it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Your suggestion was really helpful for us. According to the result of the level test, Artificial intelligence continuously personalizes the level of difficulty and the amount of your test. Anytime, 'Memorized' words can turn to be 'Not Memorized Yet' cards again. AI picks cards that you need to learn based on the detailed analysis of your learning progress. New and difficult cards will be shown more often while old and easy cards will be shown less often to increase the rate of learning. The more you repeat the answer, the more AI can analyze accurately. As you know, there are many kinds of similar Apps. But anyway, without practicing, repetition, and try, new words can not be memorized. Our team focuses on the which type of tests, which time and which way is more effective for learning. And every day, thousands of people learn new words using this App. This approach is not suitable for you, but nevertheless it can have a 'worth' for others. Based on your opinion, we will develop a less confusing way, and continuously improve this product in the future. Thank you!
