## What is memory.wiki?

memory.wiki is a personal knowledge hub for the AI era — on the web. This is the companion app that goes with you.

Capture a note, a URL, a photo, or a voice memo, and it lands in your hub. Read everything you've saved on your phone. Chat with your hub, or paste its URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any LLMs.

CAPTURE
 • Write: quick markdown notes
 • URL: paste any link, the server fetches it and stores a clean markdown copy
 • Photo: attach images straight from camera or library
 • OCR: extract text from a photo
 • Voice: transcribe speech to text
 • Home-screen widget: Ask, Search, Paste, or Capture in one tap

 READ
 • Every document in your hub, sorted by date
 • The same markdown rendering as memory.wiki on the web
 • Group documents into Bundles by topic, project, or audience

 USE
 • Built-in chat over your hub, answers cite the source
 • Share a Bundle with any AI by pasting its URL
 • memory.wiki/@yourname, one URL for your whole hub, ready to hand to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any LLMs.

memory.wiki is free to use during beta. The web hub stays the source of truth — every change syncs both ways.

Privacy: notes, photos, audio, and email are tied to your account. None of it is used for tracking, advertising, or sold to third parties. See memory.wiki/privacy for details.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-06-07

The Markdown renderer now matches memory.wiki on the web — KaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams, GFM tables, footnotes, and syntax highlighting all render natively. Plus eight UI strings cleaned up across Onboarding, Capture, Timeline, Bundles, and Help.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-02

No release notes.
