## What is MemPal?

Use your finger to improve your memory! This app is designed to exercise and challenge your short-term memory with a set of games which difficulty increases with progressive game levels. 

This unique feature of the app is it features six different types of  game with varying degrees of difficulty: (a) standard; (b) random; (c) challenge; (d) brick; (e) match duo; (f) Match Duo Plus. These different games render the app is always super fun to play with. Furthermore, the app is internationalized for English, simplified Chinese .and traditional Chinese languages, so that Chinese users can use the app in their native languages.

*** Note; you should buy the Advanced Levels in-app purchase in order to experience all the great features of the app. They include you will be able to play the match duo and match duo plus games, to add custom figures to games, to add custom songs into the app's music play list and manage the play list.

Specifically, each game presents you with a set of figures randomly assigned to tiles. To win a game, you need to remember the placement of figures on their assigned tiles, and move each figure, with your finger, to place the figure on its tile, within the allocated time and lives (hearts) for the game.

To make the games even more interesting, there are sound effects to alert you of every correct and wrong move during a game (requires your device's speaker is on), and new interesting figures will appear as you reach higher game levels. Moreover, you may add your own photos as new custom figures, and the tiles can be randomly placed to further test your problem solving skill. Added to all those, there is a different background image for each new game, and you may play motivational music while playing games. You may even customize the music playlist by adding your own songs, selecting which songs to play and specifying their play order.

Furthermore, there is a challenge game mode where you will need to place figures one column to the right, one column to the left, one row up or one row down from their assigned tiles. This will further exercise your memory and renders the app even more fun to play. Yet, there is another interesting brick game mode, where the figures are covered with brick tiles. You tap on the bricks to reveal any figures that may be beneath them. You win the game by knocking out the minimum number of bricks to uncover all figures, within the allocated lives and  game clock. Added to all the above, there are the match duo and match duo plus games, where each figure appears twice in a game. Your task is to reveal and match all figure pairs to a the game. Finally, the app keeps track of the total points you earn from the games you have won. If you purchase the Social Network option, you may post your best score to the MemPal Leaderboard, so that you can compare your progress with other MemPal users, and to send/receive challenges to/from your Game Center friends for friendly competitions. Also. you may email/message your score to friends and yourself.

I purchased MemPal about a week ago! I play 2 or 3 games each night to improve my memory skills and now I'm at level 10! My goal is to comfortably reach level 16 in a couple months! It requires constant practice and good tactics!

I also recommend this app to a few of my friends for them to improve memory while having some fun! I'd recommend MemPal to anyone who likes to challenge his/her memory by practicing once or twice each day!

My mother-in-law passed away with Alzheimer's disease. I have been very paranoid to be forgetful and not memorizing things. I have wanted to find an app that I can use to help exercise my memory to not age or not age fast. I am grateful I found MemPal. I started with level 4 and now at level 8. I am loving it and play it 3 or 4 times a day.
