• Getting started is quicker: we no longer ask you to choose categories before you've saved anything. Pick them whenever you like from the menu instead.

• Clearer guidance when you bring in the videos you've already saved.
• TikTok often doesn't tell you when your export file is ready — no email, no notification — so people wait for one that never arrives. We now say so up front, and we'll email you instead when it's time to go and grab it.
• Instagram is usually the quicker of the two, so start there if you have both.

• Setting up MemRa now starts with the thing that makes it useful: bringing in the videos you've already saved on TikTok or Instagram. One import and your back catalog is searchable right away.

• Importing your TikTok or Instagram export now works when the file is kept in Google Drive or iCloud. It no longer has to be downloaded onto the phone first.
• If a file still can't be read, the message now tells you what to do about it instead of just asking you to try again.
