L’appli n’optimise rien, alors vous n’aurez absolument pas la place de stocker dessus. J’ai importé 4 et 15 fichiers, et l’appli pèse déjà 12Go, là où Snapchat pèse 5Go avec tous les memories encore installés dessus. **Developer response:** Merci pour ton retour. MemSafe stocke tes memories directement sur ton téléphone plutôt que sur nos serveurs, afin qu’elles restent privées et entièrement sous ton contrôle. Snapchat conserve tes memories sur ses serveurs et peut imposer un abonnement pour continuer à y accéder. Avec MemSafe, les fichiers sont réellement enregistrés sur ton appareil et t’appartiennent. C’est pourquoi l’espace utilisé sur ton téléphone peut être plus important que celui utilisé par Snapchat. Petit conseil : après l’importation, pense à supprimer le fichier ZIP d’origine afin de libérer de l’espace supplémentaire. Nous savons que l’espace de stockage est important et travaillons déjà sur des solutions pour réduire considérablement l’espace utilisé par MemSafe. ### 2/5 — Good idea *2026-08-12* I really love the idea of this app. There is a one time $10 charge to save your memories forever compared to the monthly Snapchat premium, HOWEVER it takes up more than twice the amount of storage as Snapchat and now I have no more storage on my phone💔💔💔💔 **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! MemSafe stores your actual memories directly on your phone rather than on any servers, so they stay private and fully under your control. Snapchat keeps your memories on its servers, which means they control how you access them and can force you into a subscription. MemSafe keeps your full memories library locally on your device, so you always have full control. That’s why the amount of phone storage used can be higher. One quick tip: after importing, you can delete the original ZIP file to free up some extra space. We know storage space is important and we’re already working on ways to reduce MemSafe’s storage footprint 💛 ### 2/5 — Good but need some more work in it *2026-06-20* Please make an option of importing from camera roll so we can just add recent memories easily ### 4/5 — Good but could be better *2026-06-06* I was finding alternatives for snap memories without downloading and coding on my laptop and came across this app. One time payment is absolutely AMAZING, people spend a lot in shops etc so no one should complain about the price. I tested this app by downloading a big chunk and then deleting the app and redownloading it to see if my snaps would save in the app and it didnt, maybe there could be a backup feature? where when we log back into the app again and the snaps dont delete. Also ive got 18.9k snaps and 87.9GB but i didnt even download half the snaps and the memsafe app said i had over 90GB which i was very confused about. Overall its a good app!
