Seems more interested in finalizing the sale then clarifying what ur buying ### 1/5 — Terrible at special orders *2026-08-13, version 1100.19.0* Menards is an okay store if you go to the store and select your own materials; although, sometimes you have to pick through a ton of junk to find useable materials. Menards is terrible at special orders. I recently received a soffit shipment of brite red and the vented soffits arrived as colonial red. Sure, they will reorder the correct color, but I have to wait 10-12 days for a project I am in the middle of. I also got brite red fascia which is unusable because the angle is open so the shorter edge will not touch the soffit leaving an unsightly gap. The most frustrating part is they have zero concern for my lost time and added expense. If this were an isolated incident I could have had some grace but sadly I have had other bad experiences with Menards special orders. ### 1/5 — Rebate BS *2026-08-13, version 1100.19.0* If you use the app to place an order, then it should automatically apply for the supposed rebate. The whole plan is to advertise one price showing the discount, but make the process a hassle so that 90% of customers never get a rebate. I’m positive app developers would do it much better but aren’t allowed to spend more of the precious Menards script on doing that. My biggest and most frustrating part of the app is trying to access it while in the store so I can review my cart. The cart I previously stored items I want to purchase. Menards is too stupid and cheap to have even marginally good cell coverage while in their stores. In some areas of the store it’s completely dead and makes that plump cart inaccessible. So you ignoramuses at Menards that like money, go ponder this review. And while you’re at it, bring your huckster rebate program into the space age too, oh shoot, just reduce your prices by 7% and scrap that rebate charade. They can’t confirm if the items were refunded when. The receipt look up center does not work properly. I went to return a product that cost me $50. Could not find the receipt. The lady assured me that she could return it for store credit with no problem. I proceeded to do so and only receive $30 for the item. I found the receipt and came back. To my surprise they said there was nothing they could do. I contacted national customer service and was told I would have to talk to the store. Sounds like a great way to get extra money. With customer service like this, that seems corrupt who needs their services.
