## What is MendBook?

MendBook is a quiet field notebook for visible mending and textile repair.

Create private project records for garments, choose a repair technique, track stitch sessions, attach project photos, save thread palette notes, and keep gentle reminders for works in progress. Everything stays local on your device unless you choose to export or share a file.

The offline reference library includes:

- 42 sashiko, hitomezashi, and kogin pattern cards
- 14 darning technique cards
- 6 boro and kantha layered-repair reference cards
- Tool reference notes
- Fabric and thread compatibility guidance
- Cultural context and acknowledgments

MendBook also includes a 16x16 hitomezashi sketcher, CSV export, and a portable JSON backup that can include your local project photos.

No account. No ads. No analytics. In the production App Store app, your notebook data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share a file.
