## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-07-16

What's New in Mendly 1.2.3

Smarter medication tracking
• Missed a dose? Tapping "I missed it" now asks what really happened — log the actual time you took it, or confirm it was missed. You can also automatically shift all future reminders by the same offset so your schedule stays on track.
• As-needed medications now have a "Dose taken" button instead of a scheduled time. Tap it whenever you take a dose, pick the time, and Mendly logs it — no daily limit, no pre-set alarms.

Safer healing flow
• Tapping "Mark episode healed" now shows a confirmation before closing the episode, so accidental taps don't erase your tracking.
• If there are medications still scheduled when you mark someone healed, Mendly asks whether to stop the reminders or keep them running — the choice is now yours.

Oops, symptoms came back?
• A "Symptom returned — reopen episode" button appears on any recently-healed episode (up to the next day). Tapping it restores the episode and all its medications so you can keep tracking without starting over. The sick-day count picks up right where it left off.

Bug fixes
• Doctor reports for past episodes now correctly show the medications that were active during that episode.
• Fixed an issue where reopening the doctor report for a healed member showed an empty medications list.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-06-27

Version 1.2

A big update with a fresh new look and smarter family health tracking.

What's new:

- Family Calendar — see every member's health at a glance on one shared calendar, with colour-coded dots per day

- Episode Summary — a full timeline of every sick day now lives below each member's calendar. See which day of the illness each symptom appeared and how long each medication has been running — without tapping into each day

- Meet Mendi — your axolotl health companion now appears throughout the app with different poses depending on how your family is doing

- Dose reminders, upgraded — Mendi bounces in when a medication is overdue; confirm taken or missed right from the alert

- Doctor report upgrades — symptom timelines now include Day N per symptom, so your doctor can see exactly how each symptom progressed

- Celebration moments — when everyone's doses are done for the day, the app celebrates with you

- Member photos — add a photo to each family member's profile

- Redesigned Today screen — hero card shows your family's health at a glance; tap any member to jump straight to their details

### 1.1.0 — 2026-06-12

New features:
- Gap-day catch-up — missed a few days? The app now guides you through filling in past days so your health history stays complete
- Per-entry journal notes — each day has its own dedicated notes section, replacing the single shared text field
- Custom symptoms — add your own "Other" symptoms beyond the built-in list
- Day counters in calendar — the day preview now shows how many days into the episode you are
- Photo and notes timestamps — see exactly when each photo or note was added

Bug fixes & improvements:
- Custom symptoms now appear correctly in the doctor report (previously showed as blank)
- Catch-up days now carry symptoms forward: "Same" copies the last logged day, "Worse" escalates severity — so the doctor report reflects the full picture
- Your display name is preserved after signing out or purging your account when using Sign in with Apple
- Tapping a notification now navigates directly to the correct day entry
- Dose checkboxes save reliably
- Calendar day colours corrected
- Smoother notes input and keyboard behaviour
