AI should ask for pictures from the front, sides, back, and top. After uploading several photos and trying to see if the program would adjust for age, I realized this program is only for youth. Back in the day you could download an app for its intended purpose and get most, if not all of its capabilities for free. I uploaded a photo and got an error (‘undefined’ is not an object). Tried to upload again and it tries to get me to pay because I’m out of my 1 free AI usage, which didn’t work. Update after response below: I’m on the latest version. I can’t try it again because my one free trial of the AI feature failed and shows as used in your app. I’m certainly not going to pay to try when the one trial I got failed due to an error on your end. If you want to reset my account, I’ll give it another try. But I tried emailing you via the email you give on Apple’s contact the developer page and it bounced. Not a good look. If you’re still seeing that error after updating, please contact us!! ### 1/5 — total, TOTAL B.S. *2026-01-03* USELESS, PAY-TO-PLAY: After installing and refusing the 16 or so set-up prompts to use AI to analyze you, they state: “Unlock unlimited access. Hairstyle try-on is a premium feature. Subscribe to premium for unlimited try-on and access to all premium styles. You can still get a free AI analysis of your face and find suitable hairstyles. Try your free AI recommendation”. So, they want you PAY, or if not, allow them to AI scan your face for their data/image-harvesting/reselling, which is probably the real reason for this app. DELETED. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. Despite all the snazzy AI promises it couldn’t even detect I had straight hair. Absolute con. The hairstyles I want to try keep failing no matter how good the photo is, it keeps asking me to join premium when I already have, when you select something and want to go back or close it there is now back button so you have to swipe about and just hopes it goes back to where you want. The AI choices are limited and not that good. Especially if you want to go for a completely new look and all it does is offer you similar styles. Any styles I’ve tried don’t suit me and the ones I think will don’t work.
