PREPARE MESSAGES AND SEND THEM WHEN YOU CHOOSE Write an appointment message, check the wording, then choose the app you want to send it with. Mente never sends messages automatically. With Pro, you can use custom message templates, local reminders and a record that a message was prepared without storing its contents in that history. You can also share an appointment as a calendar file without turning on sync. YOUR PROFESSIONAL RECORDS REMAIN UNDER YOUR CONTROL No separate Mente account is required. Core records remain available on your iPhone or iPad, and Mente does not host them on servers managed by the developer. Sensitive information stored locally receives additional on-device protection, while access to the app uses the security available on your device. Create a password-protected backup files. You can also export readable CSV files and client PDF dossiers. Once a file is exported or shared, its protection depends on where you choose to save or send it. You can add an event from the client record or a saved note, include a date and optional context, mark it as ongoing or for future review, and return to its linked note when needed. Life Events are free to create, edit, link, delete, and review chronologically. Chronological views for notes, tasks, and plans are also free. With Mente Pro, Complete Timeline brings all client records together and relevant events appear in before-session preparation. Existing communication history remains readable after Pro expires. Life events can be included in client dossier PDFs and are protected in encrypted iCloud and `.mente` backups compatible with iOS and Android. This update also refines the native client and note flows and updates the in-app legal documents. ### 1.24.0 — 2026-08-11 Mente 1.24.0 brings the full session workflow into one clear, time-saving experience. Today Focus now prioritizes preparation for upcoming sessions, tasks, post-session documentation, unpaid appointments, and message reminders without crowding the Home screen. Preparation can open the latest note, active intervention plan and objectives, and relevant tasks, while post-session actions clearly record completed, cancelled, or missed appointments. Clinical notes now support structured templates, automatic locking when saved, deliberate reopening, and a compact newest-first version history. Previous versions remain available without duplicating the note in client lists, and unchanged revisions are not retained. The template builder supports up to six ordered text sections with custom titles, reusable initial text, and consistent smart tokens. Message Templates now has its own Settings library. You can preview built-ins, personalize one into a new encrypted custom template, choose defaults, and keep appointment messages consistent. Location and amount are included by default when relevant, while the optional calendar file stays off until selected. Messages are still reviewed and shared manually. Backup verification can check a protected iCloud backup without restoring it. Calendar Sync, Recovery Key, reconnection, conflict handling, and access after Pro expiry are clearer and safer.
