Off by default: turn it on under Data & Privacy, and the description appears in the entry's Metadata • The chat you open from an entry now knows your long-term memory, so it answers as something that knows you, not just the page in front of it • It opens with a line about that entry and a question, instead of a blank screen • It can offer to rewrite the entry: you see exactly what would change, line by line, and nothing is saved until you tap Apply • Editing an entry now has it read again, so search finds the words you have just written instead of the ones you deleted • Page scanning and dictation explain themselves before their first use — what happens to the photograph or the recording, and how much of your allowance is left ### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-20 Two new ways to get more of yourself into Mento: photograph a handwritten page, or simply tell it who you are. • Scan a handwritten page: photograph it from the entry editor and its text arrives there, ready to edit.
