I am using this app for Amazon. When I receive a call and don't answer it and still get a distraction. This happened to me three times. I never use or touch my phone while driving. Because of this situation, the app lowered my score so I can't get any bonus. I really hate this app. Now my score is 775. How can it be possible? As a manager of a DSP we take this very seriously and when I have drivers out their running routes and their data isn’t being uploaded it is not fair. Plus I have drivers being hit with things on this app when they shouldn’t be. I have wrote in multiple times to get this fixed and their has been no change. Now my own account is saying that I haven’t taken a trip since January 22 and I know that’s a lie because whenever I am at work I am out on the road helping my team. Please fix this problem! The software is not consistent, which it needs to be to actually do what the “developers” claim it does. Read the devs response to the apps short comings, and they can only respond by talking about how much they like certain unrelated features that are offered. Bottom line is that there is no proof that this is an effective app, and the creators know that it was a cash grab from the beginning. 👎 ### 1/5 — THIS APP IS WORKING AGAINST US! NOTHING BUT LIES *2023-08-24, version 2.36* CANT BELIEVE A APP LIKE THIS IS WHAT DETERMINES MY BONUSES AND RATINGS THIS IS CRAZY AND THE THINGS ITS SAYING YOU'RE DOING 99% is a LIE! ### 1/5 — Trash can app *2023-08-09, version 2.36* I don’t really need to say anything negative because the other 3k+ bad reviews say everything that’s wrong with this app. Simply put, yes this app is garbage. Will hit you with infractions without reason and just claim “it’s trying to make you a safer driver”. Never mind little Timmy’s life I just saved by “hard breaking” when he ran into the road. There’s an infraction to hurt your score. Never mind pulling out onto a busy road from a side road and trying to reach a safe speed of travel to match with the flow of traffic. You go over 3k rpm’s in a big van cause they accelerate slower, there’s a “hard acceleration” infraction to hurt your score. Yes this app is complete nonsense and shouldn’t be the standard of use. But some blame is also on your dsp for using such a dysfunctional app in the first place and trusting it. When it comes down to your lively hood because you can’t get routes or bonuses because of a crappy app, there’s a problem. Go ahead Mentor, leave your repeated, automated response. It’s embarrassing to have to use this and have your privacy violated by your company. Amazon uses this app and cameras to monitor drivers while they work and it’s a huge violation of a workers privacy. You can be suspended or fired if your driving isn’t up to standard even if e-mentor was wrong. I've been driving extra careful and going under the speed limit to avoid getting points deducted. I hate this app is what my DSP uses to measure our driving abilities. I have been able to hold a perfect 850 driving score with ease. Coming from a teaching background, almost all these reviews are placing driver error on the app. Sure, I’m sure there are some instances where a sensor is tripped accidentally, as it has happened to me. It has logged a seat belt violation once when I never even turn the engine on without already being buckled. It’s logged a phone manipulation as I have gone slowly over some rough terrain. The point is, the amount of errors that can be associated to the app is so minuscule, it should not significantly affect your driving score. Slow down, anticipate traffic and turning, take your time accelerating, BE RESPONSIBLE! I drive in very hilly terrain and the RPM often goes well over 3,000 RPM and I haven’t received a single hard acceleration. Take your job seriously and be safe! You should not drive whatever vehicle you operate at work like your personal one. ### 4/5 — Hmm *2020-07-16* So after studying how mentor works via emailing support, and using the FAQS section. This app is hardly a hindrance while delivering wether I’m in the mountains or gravel roads or icy roads. I’m always at 850. I’ve even used different phone from apple’s iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 8, galaxy s20, galaxy note, the Samsung a20, old caterpillar phones. Once you understand the ins and outs of the app getting 850 is a walk in the park and no you don’t have to drive like a grandma just drive the speed limit. Not gonna lie a lot of people are just terrible drivers without you guys knowing, getting an 850 and finishing a route faster than the allotted time is not a problem on a daily. I work 6 days a week and get 850. Just check your driving habits and don’t let your ego get in the way of that. JUST HAVE PAITENCE! ### 2/5 — Buggy *2021-02-03* Full disclosure, I’m almost always at 830. The problems I have with this app are as follows: Their feedback option is a customer service equivalent of a troll job. Imagine having an issue with service, asking someone who wants you to tell them there is an issue, and that person telling you, regardless of issue, that it’s someone else’s problem. Of course their prepared statement is far more diplomatic than this, but why ask for feedback when you can’t and/or won’t do anything about it? That’s just terrible optics. A rather large amount of country driving is done on roads without speed limit signs. While we can download apps that may be able to disclose the info we need, this app and/or the Rabbit seem to know yet this info isn’t disclosed to the drivers. I got a surprise for you guys... DOTs have budgets and locals know the speed limits in their neighborhoods. They aren’t chomping at the bit to replace speed limit signs for the random delivery driver that’s coming infrequently. Also, this is a tool to help us do our jobs correctly. If it’s working in random with another app that knows this information, why isn’t it provided to us a measure of last resort? It’s setting your drivers up for failure unless they feel like using their own data on their own phones to download apps, which presents its own set of issues. I know none of this matters as we’re required to use this app, and again I’m routinely over 830.
